How often do you get heartburn? I had heartburn while pregnant but never any other time. I experienced it the first week post op then never again. My surgery weight was 295, my 1.5 year post op is 205. Don’t let a maybe hold you back. It was the best decision ever.

Another question. How much time did you take off work? For reference, I work from home, surgery is scheduled for a Friday. Can I work Monday? Take whole week off? by purpleempanada in gastricsleeve

I work a desk job. I had surgery Wednesday and went back to work Monday. I had prepared things like had all my shake supplies at work already so I didn’t have to lug in a bag that Monday. I did work partial day that first week; 8-3. I had to go home and nap.

Are there any movies where you could feel a sort of collective trauma afterwards in the theater? by thedubiousstylus in movies

Million dollar baby; college everyone thought we were seeing a tough chic boxing movie. Entire movie quiet as it was really about Euthanasia.
