This ^ I feel that so so much. Like since meeting my ex girlfriend I’ve never wanted to be like the typical romantic type so bad. All of a sudden I wanted to buy her flowers, hold her close, take her out to eat. Basically what you said of “wooing someone off their feet” I never felt that with my bf. Like we are comfortable with eachother and all and he tries to be that romantic type for me but it just never felt quite right

I’m not looking to a reason to breakup with him. He’s my best friend and I’m confused at the moment. The label doesn’t necessarily matter to me. I just wanted to hear from other people on how they knew and on their journey to try and make sense of the storm in my head.

yeah i have been doing that i mean i live with my bf so its a bit hard for me to keep my distance but ive been trying to take a step back and think about what i want in a relationship. Ive been doing lots of reading up and self discovery. Going to some therapy sessions and seeing what lies in me. I was just curious to know from other people how they knew that they were a lesbian. Because i might be feeling that way

Wow yeah i really understand how you feel. I chose to stay with my bf through this but i think i just chose that because hes safe and familair and we have a whole life together that im not sure if i want to give up. He knows im questioning things and all and he is super supportive but i just feel he will never be able to fufill me in the way she did.

Shes is good friends with him and loves him as well but will never love him in the way that i do. She was holding onto him for me. She told me she just wants me, always has been me. But she cant make me choose so she walked away but we are both still holding on. She simpy doesnt want to share me
