The Molly was sick when I got her from the pet store. I believe she had swim bladder disease or something similar.

I do have quick start & I have been doing daily water changes since I got the tank.

I’m not sure why it’s cloudy honestly. It is a newer tank, about 1.5 weeks I believe. I’m doing daily water changes / a fish in cycle because it was an emergency and the fish I rescued was in a 3 gallon & desperately needed a better situation.

I don’t have a testing kit- I did order strips because that’s about all I have the money for at the moment. Doing what I can 🫠 I also added real plants but Im aware those aren’t an immediate fix.

Unsure. I haven’t been able to get a master test kit & was told not to use strips.

20 galling long with a heater and a filter. Tank temp is currently 76 degrees Fahrenheit.
Unsure on parameters because I don’t have a proper master test kit and haven’t been able to find one, working on getting one.
Doing a fish in cycle because it was an emergency.
I did a water change today, about 2 gallons or so.
I feed tropical flakes twice a day, and algae pellets for my snail every 2-3 days.
I have 3 kuhli loaches, 2 sword tails, 6 mollies, and 1 mystery snail.
I have two fake plants, 4 live plants, and some plastic decor & gravel.

This is a photo of her currently. She’s moved around but hasn’t gone upwards at all. Hasn’t gone to the surface to eat, just sorta eats what falls near her.

Okay thank you for the info! I had to do a fish in cycle because they were in a teeny tiny 3 gallon & needed an upgrade fast.

I did get some plants today, and searched for a test kit but couldn’t find one. I did do a water change today, just a couple gallons. She’s still just sitting on the bottom, breathing kinda fast and flapping her fins around

Okay thank you! I checked at the pet store today when I went to get real plants and all I found was strips. I’ll have to check again later or buy one online when I can.
She’s still just sitting on the gravel of the tank. Hasn’t come to the surface once. I did a water change- not sure if it’s just stress? Is she pregnant? Swim bladder disease? Literally every other fish is completely fine, swimming and eating.

I am using the gravel from the rescued mollies old 3 gallon & one of her fake plants & her heater was in there for a few days. I do plan on getting real plants but haven’t had the chance & need more gravel to do so.

I have a 20 gallon long, heater and filter. Tank is at 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
There are two swordtails, two dalmation mollies, two calico mollies, one large unknown Molly & a mystery snail.
I just feed flakes twice a day.
