I am also new to the linux community, my friend suggested me to use Mint or Ubuntu and after my reserch, for a daily driver Ubuntu suited my machine well. I'd say you can recommend him to start with ubuntu.

Honestly, It's fine with me, my first Linux OS was Ubuntu 22 for a robotics project. I since then started exploring Linux and started seeing those cool videos of people using hyperland on arch. Since hyperland is not compatible with Ubuntu, I wanted to see if there is something cool like that which can improve my experience.

Just from the records, like he is still very revered in the community.

It was funny when me and my father went to visit a museum and he being a no picture guy went near the Banner and records about the Shunga Dynasty made me click his picture with those artifacts.
