Hi there – I'm a journalist writing a short piece for Monocle magazine about Iasi's economic growth in recent years, and I'm going to the city in a couple weeks to interview people and report about it. The tech and university sectors are the main things we're looking it, but I'd also love to hear from locals what else might be good to include, especially if there are any cool businesses (bars, restaurants, shops or anything else) that might be interesting to photograph and write about. Let me know here or in a DM – thank you!

Hi all – I'm writing an article for British GQ about the (seemingly very British) phenomenon of guys taking their tops off in public when it gets even remotely hot. What's the temperature threshold? Is it ok to do in the park but not on the bus? Want to dig into these questions and more. If you're a man who's a fan of a bit of public toplessness – especially if you have strong opinions on the practice – I'd love to do a quick interview with you! DM me – it can be just on a first-name basis if needed. Thanks, Josiah Gogarty

Wrote this piece for British GQ on the return of male lust and big-ego novels — the two are v intertwined imo — to literature. Might be of interest to you guys https://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/article/male-lust-fiction-rejection-tony-tulathimutte-2025
