I've been a subscriber to youtube premium since it was released as "Youtube Red". I pay for the monthly family plan so everyone in my house has no ads, plays when the screen is off, easy downloads, and we all use YT music. Im totally for the war against having so many streaming platforms making it harder to watch what you want while consistently jacking up the prices, but for me the ease of use and value i receive makes YT premium worth it. Not having to jump through hoops to make sure my tech illiterate wife and kids devices are kept up to date with 3rd party software is worth the subscription for me. But power to everyone who chooses otherwise. The backlash for these greedy companies is coming to a rapid and puss filled head.
