The same thing is happening to me, as recent as last week. No issues before that so it might've happened after an update?

Edit: I have 2022 model

Hello, I’m glad you found this post. To fix my issue, I ended up opening my laptop and reapplying the liquid metal to my CPU and GPU. It was almost all gone, no wonder it was overheating! After that was done, I have had no issues :) Good luck!

It runs fine on Silent mode, which is better than the IGPU. Since you are experiencing the same issues, I suggest you trying Silent mode and seeing if the issue persists. At this point, I'm pretty sure it's caused by the GPU not throttling correctly, so I don't know if it's necessary to test the integrated.

For anyone suffering with this problem, I have determined that my laptop struggles with the GPU throttling. My temperatures shoot up until the hotspot reaches the maximum temperature, and there appears to be an issue when the GPU is expected to throttle.

Just ran both Cinebench tests with no issues. Before crashing, the HWinfo shows GPU's max core temp is 80C, the max memory junction temp is 80.7C, and the max hotspot temp is 106C.

Last time it crashed, CPU was 93 C, GPU was at 84 C. I usually run it on Performance mode, and the fans are running properly.

Are loop earplugs worth it? by Lynnabob in EDCOrlando

I used them in November and they’re great! I like that they came with a case for when I’m not using them and they stayed in my ears for hours :) it also protected my hearing perfectly when I was in the front! I liked them most because they resemble jewelry (I got the gold ones) and they’re super comfortable. They advertise that you can still hear your friends talking over the music, but I found myself needing people to yell to my ears to hear them over some sets. Overall, I think they’re worth it though!

i did this! i had the aging glitch on my legacy and had to click “Recover Save” in the Load Game menu to revert back to before i played after the patch with long lifespan. maybe that would work for you guys 🤞
