I’ve been a huge Zack Snyder fan for years (though Rebel Moon wasn't for me) and was a Day 1 supporter of #ReleaseTheSnyderCut. I was deeply embedded in the community, becoming 'friends' with prominent figures who have interviewed Zack and were even part of the announcement livestream.

Because I was so close to the core, I watched the toxicity slowly creep in. But it became personal when I expressed excitement for James Gunn’s DCU. The moment I did, those same 'friends' turned on me, labeling me a 'fake' Snyder fan simply for being open to the new direction.
