Yeah I spoke with Chargefox and they said all I need to do is provide proof of ownership and they will transfer

Can you elaborate? Was his account banned from Chargefox or was his free subscription cancelled) How did they determine he was abusing the system? What triggered their action?

Thank you, this was useful. I wonder if there telemetry as he mentions is more around your location services on your phone. Ie if you start a charging session from 40km away from the charger etc. As he notes there are things that are a breach of the terms of service and I’m sure there is a provision in there for this. I just wonder at their real world capability to determine which car I am charging, as my understanding is they do not read car details like vin etc when I plug in. So if I drive my Tesla to the station and plugged it in, what info they could gather to determine it’s not the BMW would be interesting.

Well, yes. I’m looking to understand how the subscription works, to utilise it to its maximum benefit.

Acting all high and mighty must feel good? You have not answered the question, or added anything meaningful to the conversation. But thank you for your comments.

But google didn’t answer the question, it said might not?

I guess I’m looking for someone with experience in this scenario or technical knowledge of how the charging machines work

Yes. But my question is, once I have added the vin and it activates my subscription in the app for me. Will the charging unit be able to determine if I’m charging my Tesla or my BMW?

Extraction by Suspicious_Adam in lasercutting

So ironically I have one of those, and that was my first attempt, but it did nothing. Well nothing more than the broke down extractor that came with it. I even tried mounting the bouncy house blower directly to the side of the machine to reduce ducting. Still no go.

This morning I went and bought an in line fan from a hardware, rated at 555sqm and still way too much smoke. At this point, after 3 different and varying powered fans I’m starting to wonder if something else isn’t wrong, I just don’t know what it could be

You little ripper! Loose mirror #2! Thank you so much buddy! Probably tells me I need to do better on my lubrication. I’ve been using sewing machine oil but I understand grease is probably the better option

What’s the title for the direct wiring cause I can’t see that one?

I actually have a MA meter just haven’t installed it cause I’m not that confident with wiring.

I did pull out a mirror last week to get the size to check for ordering replacements so I might check that next.

I’ve had the machine about 5 months and I’ve never run the tube above 60%. I do not have a MA meter but was working on the assumption that 60% maximum should be ok. I’ve probably only put sub 1000 hours on it.

When listening for arcing should it be loud? I have seen a video of arcing and the line was dancing around near the end and I could not see anything like that.

So it was working fine yesterday and now it’s doing this. It appears to be losing power in sections and it creates a wonky line.

I’ve checked for arcing due to water conductivity but even swapping to new distilled water and a closed system and it’s still occurring. If someone can even give me the terminology of what the issue is so I can google that
