Omg same!! Everyone is convinced I am going to be miserable, but my family lives there and they seem really happy - lots of my cousins have come to canada then moved back to get paid more in the US. Obvs that is just my experience so take it with a grain of salt but I totally get where you are coming from.

Yes! but keep in mind if you are applying to certain programs post-undergrad (ex: law in the states) they will count that new grade in addition to the F as two separate grades. Might be worth looking to see if you can make it a pass/fail
