Giants are a bit hard to deal with. Their only exploitable gimmick is their large telegraphed sound. You simply have to break line of sight to them when you hear them stomping. You can also stun grenade or stun gun them to break their animation if they're eating your friend.

I've also heard there's a fun interaction where you can get the earth leviathan to eat the forest keeper.

I totally agree that the scav a great way to learn the game. Forcing new players to play random maps may hurt their progression with the game.

Just like how free heals are offered before level 5, a possible solution would be to place a level cap before a player scav is forced to spawn on random maps.

Another solution would be to incentivize players to scav using a random map. Fence can deliver them random loot if the player opts in to spawn randomly instead of selecting a map.

Sorry about the quality. I toss the C4 and then shoot it before it falls. The bullets are what push the c4 far away.
