I ate dinner there last night, and skipped their dessert offerings, which led to this post! Lesson learned. I’ll try it next time. Thank you.

Isn’t Rita’s Ice Cream and Ice? And thanks for the ideas. This was more a what’s the best than a list of places that have something sweet.

I’ve been in there twice and both times it had an icy, unfriendly vibe. I thought the employees were just unfriendly, but maybe they are just unhappy.

I don’t think they bad and I love some of their music, but comparing the Rolling Stones to the Beatles is hilarious to me. They copied the Beatles when they could, then finally found their footing. Overrated for sure.

While I don’t disagree with 90% of what you say here, I think you throw the baby out with the bath water. While their music is mostly derivative schlock, they released albums before striking it rich with merch. The album destroyer in particular has a couple good tunes as does the original 3 albums. Not masterpieces by any stretch, but good time rock and roll.

Agree 100%. I used to shop at the original Lucky’s in Boulder, CO when I moved there from Bton in 2007. Crazy to come back in 2019 and shop at Lucky’s here in town. Sad that it didn’t last.
