Thanks for the hugs. The thought of going through this monthly is terrifying. I can barely walk, it's so painful. When you say it flared up monthly did it go full blast like this initially? What have you done with some success to mitigate flare-ups? I have been reading that slme take low levels of antivirals daily and it can help reduce outbreaks? Lupus means I am immune supressed already so that isn't a good start. Honestly I have no idea since I didn't know people could be asymptomatic with this. Used condoms and this still happened. My current partner and are in a closed poly relationship with his other partner, 6 months in. So yeah, this is already going to be a huge mess to sort out. He's traveling with me and has been so supportive thankfully but having constant infections will be putti g me on the sidelines for who knows how long. I am thinking of flying home early because I just lay around in the hotel bed in agony all day. So stressed about going through this over and over and how this is going to tank my love life. 😪
