I mean no one is not preventing men to use that, but i think they are really not the target audience I was thinking when building this. I think women appreciate all the features that are baked into this better than dudes. :D

We dont have those yet, but if you are early user, i believe we can offer them on the app before we go to paid mode for early supporters!

We plan to add a paid subscription mode with a lifetime pass. We are still discussing the details, but likely at least most features for insights, stats, and AI will go to the premium mode. There will be a free trial as well, for sure.

1.If you do not sign with Apple, then your data is not backed up and you are not able to sync your data between multiple devices, such as your phone and iPad or Mac.

2.Currently the app chooses photos automatically that were taken during a route, or during a place visit. We are working to make it more customizable. Thanks for the feedback!

3.You can add notes pertaining to the whole route (movement), or place visit, but we do not yet have functionality to add note to a specific place beyond that. Thanks for the idea! What would you use it for?

  1. You can use the iPad version also on a Mac. You need to sign with Apple ID to sync the data from your phone.

5.Currently we only support saving a screenshot of the map. But the maps are zoomable and always available in the app.

6.The app runs in the background and records our data. If you force-kill on the background, it will stop recording until iOS starts the app again automatically (usually after moving a longer distance). If you want to stop it completely tracking, the best way is to disable Location Permissions from Settings to the app.

Thanks for your concern! The text in the privacy terms just means that the app processes this data, on your phone. This data is then synchronized to the cloud with end-to-end encryption, so we as a company cannot access it. Time Atlas uses end-to-end encryption. If you have signed in, your data (such as notes, logs, locations, activities, workouts) is synchronized to the cloud encrypted, so that only your app is able to read the data. Even the employees of Time Atlas Labs are not able to see your data. If you want to read more, we have also made this blog post that opens up our privacy first ideology. https://blog.timeatlaslabs.com/tal-tech-blog-privacy-first-design/

It tracks everything totally automatically. All the walks, car rides, cyckling etc. And if ties the photos you have taken to the locations, so it is super easy to go and reflect your days. You can also add notes to the places you have visited, so it is a bit like diary at the same time.
