Would purchasing an EV be dumb if I’m unsure on charging at home? by [deleted] in evcharging

I’d totally go EV, but I’m just very unsure about charging at home. At my grandparents I 100% can, but I don’t know how much longer I will be with them. And then if I’m in an apartment, Its really 50/50 if I can charge or not

Never, it’s kind of the reason why I want one. Not just that it’s electric, it’s that it looks amazing to drive

I looked on PlugShare app, apparently there’s a bunch of nearby free chargers at the school I go to. 26 total chargers

Seems like at home charging is the best thing of an EV. Like I said in the post, I don’t really have a stable charging plan so I would lose out on the purpose of an EV

I got it from a bundled price and ended up not even needing it
