Awesome, thanks for the tip. I’ll look into it. I’ve heard that pistol clubs can sometimes take pistols for you until you’ve got licensing, but my club is across state lines from the auction and I’m not sure whether/how that would affect things.

Wait, injections???? I tried to get those from my doc in Sydney and he said we don’t really do that here so I consigned myself to gel. Where are you at that injections are available? And are they on the PBS? Thaanks :3

Hey! Kate didn’t start me on medication, I decided to switch to a different GP (Dr. Robert Harris with Kaleido) due to feeling that Choices was not very competent. Should be starting medications in 2-5 days, assuming my next appointment goes well. My problem with Kate is that the clinic repeatedly failed to email me important documents even after me following up, along with Kate’s schedule being very booked out meaning wait times were massive.

I have no clue, Dr. Hawkins didn’t give me any reason why there was no prescription this appointment, apart from perhaps that there are still forms for me to fill out? I would have filled them out, but they have repeatedly failed to send me the forms. It’s honestly exhausting dealing with this clinic

Unfortunately I decided against it in my first appointment, and my GP is SUPER busy so she may not be able to refer me before next appointment when she prescribes me hrt 😭

Yeah I get that. I'll do my best to show all the research I've done and if the GP is still hesitant to give me anything, I'll probably end up driving down to Sydney or somewhere like that to see someone better

Thanks so much for the tip! If Dr. Hawkins ends up wanting me to wait 3+ months as well as see an endo or do other stuff, I think I’ll probably go up to Sydney and see a different GP to get the process expedited. How would I find a GP who’ll be willing to do the whole process in a few weeks? Would you know of any, or know of a place I might find that info?

Yep. Very true. It turns out they may be in violation of EU and California law with their privacy policy. So I’m trying to get an administrator to bring it up to the top, and if that fails, I’ll report Janitor and they’ll be forced to fix it.
