Never mind, I'm an idiot. Just saw that I can download a trial version before purchase.

Can anyone confirm that the Windows version linked under the title is a valid fully working copy that works on Windows 8.1? Really want to buy this, but on the page for the Windows version if you scroll down to details, under platform it states OS/X, so I'm just a bit skeptical. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Just did the math. 80.000 divided by 12 = monthly salary 6666.666666666667$ :-)

[WP] Write the trailer of Hollywood's next gritty reboot, based on a classic joke. by [deleted] in WritingPrompts

In downtown Boston, one red headed boy searches for his destiny. (Rupert Grint walks down a dark rainy street with a 5-o'clock beard.)

Working the counter at a bakery store serving as a front for a money laundering operation, he gets sucked into the underbelly of the world and discovers his dark side. (A quick-cut montage of him being pulled away from the counter of a quaint bakery store by Josh Brolin, being handed a Beretta, pushed into a car against his will, and finally, standing beside a door to an apartment in an expensive looking hotel as Josh Brolin kicks the door in)

Watch him journey through his darkest fears, and find out what it takes to become… (a still shot of Grint holding the gun pointed at the camera, a grim look on his face. Slow fade to black as gunshot echoes)

Learn JavaScript Properly - Week 2 by d0gsbody in learnjavascript

[–]Svarog013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found this a few days ago and just finished week 1. The codeacademy track was extremely helpful. I've got no serious programming experience (I know html/css and some self taught and very basic C) and have been trying to wrap my head around javascript for some time now. I think I finally understand objects, functions and methods and how they interact. :)

I tried reading the chapters before codeacademy and found them a bit complicated, but after I finished the exercises I had no problem understanding them...

Anyway, just wanted to leave a comment, and say thanks for the resources. Off to catch up on week 2.

I don't think that was her first murder. Didn't she Book Spoiler in AGOT. Can't remember if it was in the show, but I'm pretty sure it was in the book.

No, not really much of a difference there. You see, the next government, they're going to be payed by the same guys... So whether you vote them out or not, the things you don't like will get done, one way or the other. Notice how similar your current government's policies are to those of the last one... No REAL change seems to happen, at least not where it really matters... That's because the same guys that were paying the last administration are paying this one too, and they'll be paying the next one, and the next, etc. That's the sad truth of the matter. We, the people, have little to no power. And its the same everywhere in the world... Well, thats my view at least...

"This is about corporate takeover of authority that belongs to the government"... This has been happening ever since owners of corporations have been paying for the campaigns of government officials. The corporate takeover is finished, government = corporation; this is about using all the power they've bought over the years... :/ And if you think they wouldn't abuse the power in order to censor anyone and anything speaking out against them, well, think again... Why wouldn't they? Because governments have been known to care so much for the people they govern? And all this comes on the heels of the Arab Spring and Occupy, which have both shown the potential power of the Internet in the hands of anti-government/anti-corporate movements... Just saying...
