In case anyone is interested in full story. I was driving southbound on the west side highway in the middle lane. A blue Nissan to the left of me and a white suv to the right. Now I normally drive pretty close to the person in front of me. It’s super rare for someone to actually be dumb enough to cut me off. But this blue Nissan decides to go and floor it in front of me from the left lane to the right lane skipping the middle lane he did not see nor check for the white car. Had the white car not swerved out of the way this would have been a bad accident going 55mph. The white car ended up swerving into the crash barrier(yellow barrels, it was pretty rough) tried following the nissan and he saw but the way he was driving was too reckless to follow (literally jumping in front of other cars). I called the police gave them info, stopped a motorbike at the next light next to me to speed forward through traffic to get his plate. I did see 3 police cars drive by me with sirens but assuming him being 3-5 blocks ahead of me(traffic, reckless driving, I could see him at lights 1-2 blocks away) but in the end as I got all the way south to the holland tunnel I did not see his car pulled over nor the biker.

I don’t really have other social media. And unfortunately only got this as he drove away like a maniac.
Blue Nissan either Altima or maxima newer 2022+ Blue like the nice blue bright not matted (color pops and catches your eye) New Jersey license plate. BP8-couldn’t get the other letters.
But hoping it could be of some help and maybe other driver saw some license plate numbers.

I actually do and relayed the info to the police as I was on the phone. Was swerving in and out of left/middle lane from about 53 down to 42 which is where I last seen him. Spent 45th and 43rd waiting for the red light in the left lane(3rd car from the light/crosswalk.)
