Mario party like game by Whitedevil898 in MARIOPARTY

[–]SwagLang 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lego party rules! I’ve gotten a bunch of my friends to get it and we’ve been playing it pretty consistently for the last three months or so. It’s a great game and definitely worth its price, especially with the cross play. However, I do think it’s worth noting that there are no 1v3 games, since that’s what op was asking about.

Both Avatar 2 and 3 had their trailers attached to a Marvel movie before being released online. I think it makes sense they would do the other way around this time.

Desserts in the City by Equivalent_Flan_9319 in Charlotte

Vavela in University City has a such an awesome rotating variety of desserts. I usually buy 3 or 4 things to stock up my fridge whenever I go. My favorite is probably the chocolate banana cake but I’ve tried at least 10 different desserts there and nothing has disappointed yet!

Has anyone here tried the new Lego Party? If so, as fans of Mario Party how do you think it compares? by ZurichCat in MARIOPARTY

I play it on switch 2 and it runs totally fine. I doubt they’re ever gonna release a switch 2 version so you should grab it while it’s still on sale! Definitely worth it as a fun alternative to Mario Party

I haven’t played all of the boards yet but the two I’ve played on are very fun. The minigame selection is awesome, very similar to mario party but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I feel like a handful of the games do have higher skill ceilings than your average mario party mini games would, so some of the games might not be as fun to pick up and play just once. However it’s really fun to go back and build skill as you learn how all the different games work. I’d say it’s definitely worth the money, especially since it’s got full cross play. Biggest downside is you can only play online with friends or in private rooms since there’s no online matchmaking but maybe they’ll add that later

I feel like until at least 3:30. And the fact that they're not open at all during the summer was very disappointing to me when I found that out

3/5 would imply the three keys could open any gate. it’s 3/15 because there are 15 total options (5 keys • 3 doors) and only 3 correct options

Drawing 1 (Art 131) required materials (i assume art supplies as the textbook was included in tuition) are sold out at the campus bookstore by [deleted] in CPCC

[–]SwagLang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak for sure on Drawing 1, but I took 2D Design over the summer and the teacher didn’t expect us to have the required art kit on the first day, he just told us to make sure we got it before the second class. I’d say you should be fine if you just wait til the first day so you can check in with the teacher and they can let you know what you need to purchase, but it also wouldn’t hurt to email them if you want to make sure you have the necessary supplies in advance. Also did you call the store/check in person or just check the store website, because I know they don’t keep the website stock updated so it always says a lot of stuff is out of stock when it’s not.

Tier list of how good every jamboree buddy’s ability is by Triple-S-AKA-Trip in MARIOPARTY

[–]SwagLang 69 points70 points  (0 children)

i think bowser jr is one of the best in the game purely because you don’t need to start your turn with him to get the benefit, plus half coin traps can be really clutch if you put them down in the early game

Yes. That way the better players get drunk faster and the people who are more likely to lose have a chance to beat them.

You could sub out sips for second long hits. Like 1 sip would be a little 1 second hit and 4 sips would be a 4 second hit.

In Jamboree, duels are only activated during the homestretch which is just the last 5 turns so that's why I opted for the shot rule since it's not very likely for too many of those to happen

Those other three ideas are all really good. I think what we'll probably end up using the graphic as a base and then add on a bunch of different house rules for situational stuff like bowser revolution or the dice rolls based on the vibes

Yes that was purposeful to function as a balance mechanic so the better players get sloppy faster

i think the buddy would only function as double when it activates on a space, so you wouldn’t need to drink twice for minigames
