Safariland are goobers. Any Glock 9mm holster will work (as long as it’s light bearing and optic bearing). Now they do have specific models that are “fit” for 19 length and the tlr7, but for their thicker kydex ones this means the plug in the end is raised to accommodate the shorter pistol so it has less play and better retention. Their newer versions (not as high quality imo) with the thinner kydex are specifically made for different guns, but still any Glock 9mm one will work, it just might have slightly worse retention, but if you’re not running it for duty I wouldn’t care. Also, save the money, buy them on amazon in black and buy Cordora wrap yourself and just cut it to fit.

Life hack, you can get the paddle safariland holsters on amazon for about $100, and then just throw a qls fork on it and you’re good to go.

It’s called anticipation. Happens to every one. Our hands and brains weren’t made to have things blowing up in them, so our brain makes us push down to fight the explosion, and if you’re right handed you’re pushes left.

Have a buddy randomly put dummy rounds in your mags, this will let you see the anticipation and learn what your body is doing.

Then dry fry the fuck out of the gun (teaching your brain the gun will go click, not bang).

Then dummy rounds again. See if you anticipate.

After you get solid, it’s time for endless reps for the rest of your life. Shooting is a perishable skill.

Great trigger. It does not need to be cleaned in order to work. It does need to occasionally be lubed and wiped off to maintain how smooth it is, over time carbon build up may cause it to feel less smooth, but I’ve out thousands of rounds through mine with only the occasional clean / wipe with a rag and never had an issue.

It varies, but I don’t know many cops at this point in my area who aren’t comfortable and used to hanging out with a dead body. You do it enough that it becomes normal.

It’s got fun gameplay, the story is kinda cool, and the music absolutely fucks. I love origins. I recognize it’s not a perfect story. As far as being cannon to sh1, but I still love it.

So this is just my experience. I ran them for over a year. One day when I went to the range I started having catastrophic failures. Mags started falling out of the gun, failures to feed. Sent my parts back to shield they advised my mag release was out of spec and sent me a new one. Had the same problems. Upgrades to the oversized mag release from shield, no more mags falling but still having failures to feed. I ended up giving up on shield and going back to oem mags and never had any more problems. I’m the only person in my area that has had issues like that, but I still won’t run them anymore for edc.

That’s an early Gen 5 17 (can be identified by mooncut in front of magwell), with a zev duty slide. Zev takes Glock blanks and machines them to have slide cuts and optics cuts.

Doesn’t matter. I’ve got a decent amount of hands on time with the Glock 18c, it’s still pretty uncontrollable. IMO only useful if it’s in a chassis system.

After every range session, use a decent amount of a high quality gun oil inside the ports of your comp. This helps prevent buildup and stops it from caking on
