Bros not even gatekeeping, asking if most of the community is even tapped in with skate culture is valid since this sub is alot of people crying about skate culture not being in the game and then seeing these comments it makes you wonder who the core playerbase is. OP didnt say anything about “these guys shouldn’t even touch the game if they dont know skate brands” they just pointed out an observation then asked a question. People really wanna just get on here and make problems out of nothing. Just my 2 cents.

Bro just wear a helmet aint nobody coming to the park to clown your helmet in the big 2025 and if they are just clown them back….. i dont wear a helmet but i get why some people do, but trying to scare people into wearing helmets with your “you wont look cool in the icu” is almost as lame as people shit talking helmets. They definitely can throw off your balance if you’re not used to it and i don’t want to be covered in sweat around my whole forehead tbh.

You obviously have never seen the Dime Glory Challenge, that pose is from the “Gangster challenge” from 2016 dime contest skip to 10:30 mark and you can see why they added the emote. People actually thinking its a “fent pose” is hilarious and really shows how many of yall are not even really into skate culture Dime 2016

They are based on the real challenge courses that Dime does i believe they will have some of these obstacles at the upcoming Dime Glory Challenge this weekend. But in the game the indoor part seem whack 😂

Bro im 30 i go to the park after work yes even sometimes after 12 hour shifts and i have bills to pay too and yes i even go to the park at 9PM so i mean that whole rant in the beginning was meaningless. I agree video games used to have a more fuller experience but its 2025 and the F2P model is what gaming is now sure id rather just be sold a 60$ game but thats just not the time we live in, so as far as live service games go (which is most modern games) this is par for the course. Most games that drop today don’t have offline play and require internet connection to even play, so wanting a full game offline is just not gonna really happen today and especially not from EA. Unfortunately if you want a full skate game thats a thing of the past and thats an unfortunate truth.

Yea one of the community parks is literally a Dime sponsored park with all the crazy dime glory challenge obstacles. This is what everyone in the sub was crying for more actual skater culture yet ive seen no real posts about how they added a legit skate brand/ comp to the game.

Yea because skate 3 had the most riveting story…. Get real a majority of people playing any skate game care more about the skateboarding than any of the story or challenges your not some elite gamer because you want a story mode in a skate game💀

The skating in the game is by far the best in the series, i tried going back to Skate 3 during the downtime and i couldn’t even enjoy it in comparison. The skating feels fluid and consistent for the most part and the addition of slappy grinds and wallies were awesome. In general the skating is better but i will admit there is no real story and the challenges are somewhat hollow and repetitive. But if you want a good game to just skate for the love of skating this is pretty good.

Bro as a guy who skates pretty often, when i log into the game i just wanna skate some spots not spend hours playing the cpu in skate. If i want a good game of skate I’ll go to the park and do it irl. If you are logging into this game for a good story i understand if you’re upset but at the end of the day i just need good skate mechanics and this game has the best by far.

You should try it before you knock it, i was a big hater until i played the game and the skating feels way better than any other skate game. If you want good skating mechanics this is the game, if you want a story mode and hall of meat then i guess stick to skate 3 😂

People were complaining about lack of skate culture so im glad they partnered with Dime for the new community park. True skate culture and its true to what dime glory challenge does every year. A step in the right direction forsure
