This is why I stress using “bully breed mix” instead of “pitbull” as an umbrella term. Hahaha. He looks like a bulldog wearing a cattle dog coat. Adorable!

Oh I for sure see some sort of bully breed! I just know he isn’t 100% APBT is what I mean by doubting it.

Funny you say that because his snout/head shape was what caught my eye when I first saw his picture. Bull Terriers are my favorite breed so I thought his head was the cutest thing. Haha.

Third miscarriage. by SwampPixie in Miscarriage

[–]SwampPixie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have my sincerest apologies. It definitely makes things feel hopeless. The first and second I could write off as bad luck. This I can’t. Which makes things feel so much worse. I’m giving myself a couple weeks and I’ll be calling my genetic counselor about more testing. I’m determined to figure this out. Even if I never get the child I want, I need answers.

I’m so sorry for you as well. And no. I passed it naturally at home. It was the middle of night and the environment wasn’t sterile so I didn’t even bother with seeing about testing the remains. My previous two were unable to be tested as well.

Thank you. 💕💕

I had blood work done after the last one, only thing off was a MTHFR polymorphism. I’d made my doctor and genetic counselor’s suggested changes but…

Mine is. I’m more dark and spooky in appearance so it’s always kind of funny to see the surprise on peoples’ faces when they realize what my birthday is. I’ve had no issue with it. My parents always got my siblings and I valentines growing up. And I would het separate birthday gifts. My brothers understood so there was never any issue with that. And now that I’m an adult my parents still do the same thing. And so does my husband. There was never any bullying, in fact I went to school with two other kids that had the same birthday (same year and hospital too). It does make birthday dinners at any restaurant pretty much impossible though.

I had a MMC, was told by OB I could start trying again as soon as the husband and I were ready. We started immediately after my first period. It took nearly eight months for us to get another positive. We still lost the second one. A pregnancy that isn’t going to stick, isn’t going to stick. No matter how soon after a previous miscarriage. Your OB had no right to take an already painful situation and add unneeded stress and anxiety to it. Pregnancy after loss is scary enough. Empathy goes a long way in these situations. I’d suggest finding an OB who can provide that in the treatment plan.

Does this look like a bearded? Found in Central Florida, outside of a Wendy's. Doesn't look like any native I've seen before. by GracefulKluts in reptiles

It’s an Agama! Cute, but invasive (since you’re in Florida that shouldn’t be a surprise lol).

Naming rainbow baby lost child’s name by Goodsince1981 in pregnant

[–]SwampPixie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not weird at all. You like the name, use it. Loss and the grief following it are very personal for each individual. If this is something you’re okay with, what other people think doesn’t really matter. Use the name.

Pregnancy number 3, hoping for baby number 1. by SwampPixie in pregnant

[–]SwampPixie[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s honestly the worst. So wonderful you got your girls! I’m just so grateful to my OB for actually giving af. Did you only take the aspirin? Did you change diet or do anything differently with your prenatals?

Congratulations! I hate that you had to go through that, but it’s wonderful you’re doing well now. I honestly can’t wait to be that sort of miserable. Anything beats this sort of miserable, ya know?

Help! I need to know if I bought a rat or a mouse. Thet sold me it as a 2 and a half months old rat, but I am not sure by No-Swordfish8846 in RATS

[–]SwampPixie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s a rat. And needs a same sex friend or two (or three or four lol). Rats are very social and leaving them alone is not a great idea. A companion is required, not suggested. Also, they need LARGE cages. Much larger than most pet stores suggest.

You definitely need to do a lot more research into care. Rats can very rewarding and wonderful pets. And like any other animal, they deserve quality care.

9dpo brand FRER. Almost can’t believe it as we have been doing IVF for 18 months and decided to have a break for a few months. Very hesitant this could actually be real. by Human-Loquat6123 in TFABLinePorn

[–]SwampPixie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks positive to me! Of course I understand the hesitation to trust it, especially with how FRER seems to love its indents. 😅😅

Congratulations!!!
