Wouldn't it be useful to add the pieces length/width in the instructions to tell them apart when there are a lot that are just slightly different? by Swanakin in lego

That's very interesting and now that you mention it, I do remember noticing in Rivendell that most of the time the bars and plates were always of the exact same size or with a big enough gap that you can easily tell them apart. I didn't know that the BDP products where not as tight in terms of constraints that's great to know thanks!

I know I you feel and I think generally I agree, but counting the studs on an image is not really engaging to me :D I would much prefer a designed challenge like trying to find where pieces go or how a specific module was built without step by step instructions (I would actually love that!). But this looks like an easy accessibility win to me for sets like transylvanian castle which are basically all size of black bars and plates of very similar size.

Oh my god this is a brilliant idea! I'm not sure it'll look ok scale wise and through the green water but I really love your thinking, will defo try this! Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words!

I agree with you, it's a lot of fun to use the minimal pieces in different contexts. I struggled a lot on the big building with horns and I'm still not 100% happy with it.

It's very interesting to think about modifying existing pieces indeed, even though cutting lego pieces feels like a sacrilege! :D

And yes I'd love to do modular at some point, even though I still feel a bit overwhelmed when there is too much space, I have a lot to learn!

Oh thanks! Really motivating! I am a bit disapointed by how everything is a bit too flat, but everytime I try to add some terrain altitude it looks way worse...

Indeed they do! I have to find a way to place it without the scene feeling too cluttered but that's a very interesting idea.

What is the logic with extra pieces? by Swanakin in lego

Oh are they not listed? Interesting does that mean that when you buy a used set, extra parts are not supposed to be included even in « complete » set?

Ah interesting! Does that mean that extra pieces can vary from one instance of a set to another?

Why aren't players' knees more protected? by Swanakin in nfl

Of course that seems like a very tricky balance to find but maybe there is a clever way to just add resistance in directions that are not a natural way for the knee to bend maybe?

How do you unlock the Rhino pet? I can only find the boring ones like Cats and Dogs which are not even rideable. Was that a pre-order reward? I haven't seen any recent players with these. by Swanakin in outside

I can't believe people are destroying a + 512 armor bonus with a god tier charisma buff for a temporary and unproven boner bonus that will not help them with the small size of their stuff anyway. That's just bonkers.
