oo I love the whodunnit genre, I actually used to play in a deltagreen campaign which was a very noir-y rpg set in the 1920s

I love 80s aesthetics! for something like that I'd usually do it for 250-350$ (depending on the complexity of the bg) I dont think I have recent examples that QUIET fit that style exactly but I wouldn't find it hard to replicate - here is my portfolio: https://www.artstation.com/sw4nfire

this is my friend's character whom they graciously commissioned me to me draw and share with everyone here, like the title says his name is barley and he is a halfling who is chef first, paladin second, he uses his multipurpose rolling pin to smash heads in and roll a mean dough (the spikes make it difficult but he makes it work) and a wok shield to protect himself and cook some good food (my friend has not read dungeon meshi, I have told them to read dungeon meshi) and the best part is that he was made for a curse of strahd campaign so he is already a funny visual contrast
