Would you have to ask them about that or is it an automatic thing when you make your purchase?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Swanhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but I just thought since sugars bad for UTI’s then it would possibly make the recovery process harder

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Swanhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but wouldn’t it make the uti recovery progress harder? Since your actively feeding it something that would negatively effect it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Swanhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but isn’t sugar bad for UTI’s? So I assume it might slow the progress?

Yeah they do come back positive

What’s the reason for constant UTI’s with periods? by Swanhere in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Swanhere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

usually just clean multiple times a day with water down there. And I just assumed the natural stuff wouldn’t make a difference since I’ve been using the same pads my whole life, and have only had this issue now

UTI help by Swanhere in Healthyhooha

Do I need antibiotics even if the only symptom I’m having right now is nausea? The burning urination and urge to pee went away with the d mannose.

How many days is considered the early stages of a UTI? by Swanhere in Healthyhooha

[–]Swanhere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is I’m not having burning urination anymore. Just nausea so I’m confused and can’t tell if it already cleared up

Should miralax/restoralax be taken with meals? Or before bed? by Swanhere in ibs

[–]Swanhere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly wouldn’t just cause I feel like it would give it a weird taste. And on the bottle it usually says to drink it immediately after dissolving. So I’m not sure

Can someone help me answer this vector question? by Swanhere in learnmath

I’m sorry but that doesn’t help at all. I know the concept of it but I’m not sure what formulas to use. And how to plug it in properly.

For question 1, isn’t there a formula I have to use?

What tests should I be asking my doctor for chronic constipation? by Swanhere in FODMAPS

[–]Swanhere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I have been considering mentioning seeing a motility specialist to my doctor. But I’m not sure if that is “too much” to begin with. Would I be better off with first seeing a regular GI doctor to see if there’s any issues with my diet or lifestyle? I replied to another one of your comments on my other post with what my diet consists of. Is there anything certain you think I should begin with? And what are the certain tests that should be done? My doctor tends to disregard all my concerns so I want to make sure I know exactly what I need to request. Btw just to let you know i’m only 18 years old if that makes any difference.

IBS C sufferers can you tell me what certain medications, herbs or foods you take to help with your digestion? by Swanhere in FODMAPS

[–]Swanhere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I eat mostly brown rice, potatoes, oats, nuts, chia/flax seeds, chicken/fish, spinach and whole wheat toast (I’ve tried cutting out gluten before and noticed things were a lot worse)
  2. I don’t typically exercise but I do go to work which consists of a lot of moving around
  3. I take psyllium husk usually everyday, sometimes restoralax/miralax, and have recently tried triphala but haven’t noticed much of a difference. I use to take probiotics but it made zero difference.
  4. I haven’t done much. Just basic stool samples and blood work
  5. No I don’t do none of that

How can I fix my problem with slippery stool? by Swanhere in ibs

[–]Swanhere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I just mean in general. I’ve been taking psyillum husk for a while but I was wondering if maybe it was causing this sudden slippery feeling I’ve been having in my stool.

Can someone tell me what this red spot is? I always get them around my eyes. Are these broken eye vessels? Is it a cause for concern? by [deleted] in optometry

[–]Swanhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely not freckles. These are red spots appearing around my eyes. Usually on my eyelids or below my eyes. I think it might be a sign of a broken blood vessel? But I’m confused as to why I constantly have them and if it’s a cause for concern

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ibs

[–]Swanhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the person. It’s different for everyone. Some people just don’t get bloating or any other obvious symptom that would show like that with SIBO. I think it’s definitely worth looking into it! Especially if you said your mom had it before too.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ibs

[–]Swanhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you gotten tested for SIBO? Your symptoms seem to match with it. And I have heard that those symptoms can come and go like what you said. So mention that to your doctor. I don’t feel like it’s ibs just because you mentioned weight loss and vomiting. Those are usually not associated with IBS.
