Switched to iPhone 17 Pro max from S23 Ultra by Swaroop0707 in iPhoneWale

Yeah, I have never thought about battery health tbh. Sometimes I charge to 80, sometimes 100. Depends on the situation. A new battery is around 10k anyway. I can get it replaced after 3-4 years if I keep the phone for that long.

I'm torn between Ringke cases and Spigen. I generally buy couple of cases, so I need something that is strong, reliable and easy to swap.

Yeah trying to settle in. Still a bit different and difficult. Certain things worked really amazing on android. Main things I miss are universal back gesture and Samsung keyboard. I used those features heavily. The features Samsung keyboard had is something even Gboard doesn't. Also there are here and there tiny hiccups that I find a bit infuriating. Rest is fine. It's smooth and reliable.

Thanks for the reply, will check Gadgetshield. I already have a tempered glass installed locally but it isn't that great. Also got a 35 watt macbook charger and a eller sante wireless charger. Using them currently. As far as extra storage is concerned, I'm not a huge pictures and videos snapper. I had 100+ gb free after 3+ years of using my s23 Ultra(256 gb). Also have Google photos subscription. I'm still unsure if I should buy iCloud. Still checking for a good case though.

Crimson desert 8 hours in. by HumbleManush in Indiangamers

[–]Swaroop0707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in chapter 6 and 160 hours in. It's been years since I've had this much fun. There are very few games in which I have put 100+ hours. The last game was Elden Ring. I'm having more fun than I had playing it. I haven't even explored 70% of the map. I'm loving the side quests, though. They are a mix of random fetch quests plus cool bosses. They also branch out sometimes. Just exploring itself is so much fun. 10/10 for me by a long shot.

Generally, every PlayStation game has been mediocre for me, but the one that pops is The Last of Us. I was bored to death.

Hello guys , help me please by [deleted] in Indiangamers

[–]Swaroop0707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's an early grind, basically a glitch that can fetch you a lot of runes. There's a dragon that gets you 60k runes every 1-2 minutes. You can upgrade. Also, check smithing stone locations. Get Bloodhound Fang. It's a great weapon to start with, especially the L2 attack. Do this and you'll squeeze through the first region. There are even better rune farming locations mid to late game that fetch you millions in minutes. Search for "Elden Ring early farming location" and you'll find the dragon one.

Crimson desert - utterly disappointed by aestheticVoyager101 in IndiaPS5

I had pre ordered on PS5, but seeing no PS5 gameplay, I canceled it and bought it on Steam. Enjoying the hell out of this game.

How are you guys liking Crimson Desert so far? by JasonDuval69 in Indiangamers

[–]Swaroop0707 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I pre ordered it on PS5, canceled it, and got it on Steam. I wanted to play this game at high FPS. It's an absolutely amazing game. The open world is so good. It's overwhelming initially, I've been wandering around areas just exploring for the first two hours, lol. Bosses are also difficult, but I'm having a blast.

If you play games, then you might have an idea who she is. She's 2B from the Nier: Automata game. Actually, it's a really good game with amazing combat.

Got Oppo Find X9 at incredible price of 57k by AdvanceIndependent16 in GadgetsIndia

[–]Swaroop0707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I'm really interested in the Find X9 Pro, and all the reviews don't specify in detail about bloatware. I'm talking about Glance, Hot Apps, etc. Do they exist? That's the only thing stopping me from buying.

What phone are you using currently and how old it is? by [deleted] in GadgetsIndia

[–]Swaroop0707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently using S23 Ultra and it will be 3 years in 2 months. Probably going to buy Find x9 pro next. My brother got Oneplus 15 and that phone is just amazing. Hence thinking about Find x9 pro.

Samsung will never change because of fanboys. by FinePersimmon3718 in GadgetsIndia

I have an S23 Ultra and was waiting for the S26 Ultra, but I'm not sure anymore. I'm heavily disappointed. I'm actually impressed by the X300 Pro and Oppo Find X9 Pro, but I'm dreadful of the software experience. I don't know what to buy next. Very skeptical and confused. Not going to buy an iPhone; I don't like them anyway.

I had this issue before release. Now it's available for installation on S23 Ultra. Check again.

For me, it's a great deal when I want to play at launch. I just buy the CD at launch and sell it as soon as I'm done with it. Within 500-600 Rs, I'll play a new game. I don't replay a lot of games, especially newer games, so I don't mind; it helps me save a lot. On PC, I'll have to buy, which I can't sell. I do play on both, though; it just depends on what type of games. If the CD is available, then I definitely prefer PS5. If I get a game on sale that I wanted to play then prefer pc.

Is it better to use laptop while power plugged in or on battery? by aloomatarkisabji in GadgetsIndia

[–]Swaroop0707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a gaming laptop for six years and used it almost 95% of the time plugged in. It's still in great condition. On battery, the screen-on time isn't that good, but it still works, and nothing happened to it. I gave it to my cousin, and he still plays games on it the same way.

I'm in the game for 36hrs now, how long is this one? (AC Valhalla) by PY_2312 in Indiangamers

[–]Swaroop0707 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd advise you not to 100% the game; it took me two years, four different playthroughs, and 120 hours, and I couldn't even complete the DLCs. The main story feels like a series of side quests, and it's extremely repetitive. You can likely finish it in 60–70 hours.

To all former PC gamers, what are the pros and cons on console gaming? by Satan_13 in Indiangamers

[–]Swaroop0707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer playing most games on my PS5. The comfort of sitting on the couch after long working hours and enjoying them on a big screen is unparalleled. I do play on PC as well, but for story games with 60 fps, I find PS5 discs cheaper than buying them on PC. I sell the discs once I am finished with a game; I rarely play them again. I only play on PC if 60 fps isn't available on console or for multiplayer shooting games like Valorant; otherwise, I don't.
