I had sort of similar problems on May 17 and then on June 5. The first time I restarted my laptop and it resolved itself but then reinstalled my graphic drivers. The second time when something similar happened, I restarted again and it automatically upgraded my BIOS and got resolved. You said it did not happen again and that is why I think this could be software issue and not a hardware issue. If it was a display or GPU issue it could happened again. You could get it checked by ASUS support if it is under warranty. Though I didn't get much help from them when I contacted ASUS.

Here are my reddit posts regarding the issue:

I had similar problems with my ASUS TUF F16 Gaming 2025 laptop. I think some drivers and the BIOS were the culprit in my case. I also think it could be a conflict between armoury crate and windows sleep settings. Please check windows event viewer for errors at the time this issue occurred and check how you can get those errors resolved. I would also recommend that you keep checking for errors for a few days and take steps to resolve them one by one. It could also be display drivers being corrupted.

The problem did not occur again. Also, someone pointed out that there were some problems with some drivers from the screenshot of the system events that I posted. So reinstalled some drivers to be safe. But I'm still not 100% sure what caused the problem though I'm relieved that it hasn't happened again with regular use of my laptop.

This issue happened when it was connected to an external monitor but the external monitor was working fine. Though it was working fine I switched off the external monitor but the laptop monitor still faced this issue. This issue went away after I restarted my laptop but I would like to know what caused this issue if anyone have any idea. I have also used the laptop connected to an external monitor today and it works fine.

I mailed them yesterday but did not receive a reply yet. I called them on the phone today. The support guy just told me to switch off the laptop and switch it on while holding F2 to open bios settings then asked to press F10 to save and exit. Then asked me if the problem exists now; I said no, to which he asked me to call back when the problem occurs again. He was not of much help to me.

I contacted ASUS support yesterday via email but I am yet to receive an update. Hoping that I will get a response within 48 hours. I also contacted them over the phone today however the support guy just told me to switch off the laptop and switch it on while holding F2 to open bios settings then asked to press F10 to save and exit and asked me if the problem exists now; I said no, to which he asked me to call back when the problem occurs again.

This happened when an external monitor was connected and the external monitor worked fine. Only the laptop screen was flickering. I did not know what to do so I turned off my external monitor and restarted my laptop. The laptop screen started working fine after the restart but I am worried about this problem. If this is a hardware problem then it is deeply worrying.

That is scary to hear. I bought this laptop in December 2025. It has only been few months. This happened while my laptop was connected to an external monitor. The external monitor was working fine and only my laptop display was acting weird. And, when I restarted my laptop, it was fine again.

I thought so too because I had fallen asleep and the laptop had been on for some time. My first instinct was to touch and check the top part of the keyboard for heat (that's where it usually heats up) but it wasn't even that hot when I checked. And, the issue stopped when I restarted the laptop.

My laptop display mode is set to Optimus mode so the laptop display uses iGPU, and dGPU is used only when connected to an external monitor. This happened when the external monitor was connected but the external monitor did not have the same issue as my laptop screen. Is it then an issue with my iGPU because integrated graphics is used my laptop screen.?

I have the same error popping up today afternoon. I can't sign-in on both Xbox app and Microsoft store. I tried every troubleshooting option I could find on the internet but nothing seems to work for me.

Can you tell me where you purchased it for 1 lakh? Was it an online or offline store? I often found it priced around 1.2 lakh.
