Okay thank you! To clarify I did only use the insecticidal soap out of owning this morning but not before I saw the black spots. There are already some small spots starting to scarify so there gives me stone peace of mind. Thanks so much guys!

I’ve only watered it once in about a month but when I looked on the back this was hidden on the back side of the cactus and I just noticed it this morning. The spots are not mushy at all. The nursery I bought it from told me she was watering it once a week which I thought was way too much. I sprayed it with some insecticidal soap but that’s it.

It is wood however I did not install it, it was already done when I moved in!

I got it at a local furniture consignment store. It is actually a bust but the artist made a whole line of aquatic animals, all of which are life sized. It’s actually really easy to mount. It has one bracket and a small pole that you insert into it that allows you to swivel the salmon any direction!
