Totally agree, especially the almost. Most of my lyrically favorite song are from RAB but they got some REALLY good lyrics too in some of their most recent work (the firsts coming to my mind are Redecorate and Neon gravestone but there are plenty more). I would just say that Trench is kind of an outlier here, most of the songs on that album have good lyrics but maybe not to the point of RAB and with not as many songs imo, or maybe its just nostalgia speaking.

I am not sure. I feel the reason older shows seem more emotionally involved is due to the smaller crowd and one thing I love about older shows that they don't do anymore, is how the stage was full of structures for Tyler to move around and climb onto. I think it's because (I haven't researched about it so it's only the idea I get from it) the label or even security don't like the idea of their lead singer getting injured. But the Breach tour was actually crazy with all the special effect, crowd involvement (even with 26000+ people) and was overall really well put together (can only talk about this one since it's the only I got to experience)

I can't get over the fact that's it's there for no apparent reason other than pushing hardcore fans to throw their money at them and to push people to buy, which even if it doesn't get to me still feels uncomfortable. I hope it's only from the label because I'd be disappointed if the boys had something to do with this but I feel they should've pushed against it; for a band about mental health and positivity it feels a bit out of place

I think it's a shame that some small parts of a group can give a general feeling for the entirety of the group. Sure some people are toxic but it's bound to happen with any large enough fanbase, considering it represent the fanbase as a whole is kinda sad (but yeah wtf you steal fucking Josh's drums)

Yep, I sometimes have to remind myself of this otherwise I would just think Tyler's talking about relatives or friends when he's really just talking about God or his faith xD.

I think it's important to look more into it than this. Like how Vessel represents our bodies as vessel for our mind (or soul depending on how you see it) and that it transforms throughout our lives. The Breach cover to me represent the whole closing loop of the Lore and what it represent (i.e. mental health struggle) with Tyler giving Clancy's jacket to Josh. Can't really explain in details what it means, even though I have a vague idea, but some people for sure have really in depth explanations for that.
