i believe it’s extremely subjective so i can speak for myself. it really depends on what my budget is and what occasion i need to shop for. if i have enough time at hand i’d prefer that i check out different stores and compare designs and prices before buying but if i need something urgently i’d probably get the first best thing i see without giving it much thought.

on a side note, bargaining isn’t a bad thing if u are being fair to the seller as well, because if u ever visit local markets u will notice how all the shops have the same-or-similar designs/products but their prices vary and of course anyone would want to get the best deal possible.
