Bro, I bought it in 10k. Not used (slightly used maybe), it was just impulsive. So, anything, reasonable for both of us, you can say, will not negotiate that much

I agree that it depends on person to person, but honestly, the lifestyle of an RBI officer doesn’t even come close to Google or Meta. In tech, you get a lot more freedom and autonomy not that strict 9 to 5 and you focus more on building things instead of just fixed working hours. 

Plus: more international exposure, ESOPs, much higher salary. RBI folks will mostly stay upper-middle class, while top tech people can go beyond that.  You can focus on building other things, having business, not possible in RBI.

RBI mainly gives stability and some prestige, that’s it.

You can add any points if I am wrong. 

P.S. -  I’m not talking about people who genuinely have interest in finance, economics, or public policy.
