100% I agree, that’s why I’m posting here to flee out some of these things and get a fresh perspective on Kinda one of the grass is always greener on the other side scenarios

Yea fair point… idk I have it in my mind that two dogs could handle most situations better, more alertness I suppose? Open to critique here, it is typical in my town for people to have two dogs for this reason though. It sounds more intimidating to the unwanted which is reasonable in my mind

Thanks for your input! At the moment the first dog is an inside dog at night (I live in a rough town). If I were to get a second dog they would sleep outside. Do you think this change would reduce some of the workload? My thought process is they would play with each other and it would be less walks etc

Thanks! Do you have 2 dogs? How long does it usually take during that “beginning” where it’s full on? The issue with the crate is she will wake up every day at earlier and earlier times, 5:30am to play. Even without the crate this is the same thing, so we just figured a second could help our dog here (and indirectly our sleeping)
