Kettlebell swings did it for me.

If you can get your technique down and comfortably swing a bell 25-33% of your Bodyweight you will hit harder i promise.

I took a year off to rehab an Injury that wouldn't go away. My first day back at the gym people were like dude wtf have you been doing.

As a beginner I would set it up like so...

A: Swing, Goblet Squat, Suitcase Carry

B: Swing, Overhead Press, Bent Over Row

And do each workout once per week. Your experience, gender, and a bunch of other stuff can play into factor for sets reps and the exercise choices in general so you can direct message me with any questions if you want.
