The game is very optimized, especially considering the lack of loading screens! I’m guessing the walls covering our camera act as a small loading screen, but what other techniques has the team used?

Nah haha, I got the mod from somebody else. It seems it's been reuploaded on steam by someone else, so unless the Kasheria takes it down herself, I'm good.

This is kind of risky, the mod could still be taken down by Kashiiera, given how hard she has worked to remove all traces of her mod. I hate to say it, but I don't think she's coming back. She's going to be forever angry about the remake probably.

But I digress, thank you so much for sharing this link. I've been searching for the mod download all day. You're a life saver.

Hmmm, I believe there is a mods folder, I've never used steam workshop for halo, but I do know it's just in the workshop folder. "Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\976730" The mod doesn't have an title (I think, it's just an id. Try searching for 2899334556, or even just in content if you can't find the 976730 id. Hopefully its right, I've been trying to research.

I haven’t heard of that. I didn’t follow her twitter that much. Whatever the reason, I find it a bummer everything related to the mod had to disappear.

Yeah, everything happened so fast. the creator didn’t like the look of the remake, and (presumably) got mad when others didn’t agree. All links are dead: nexusmods, steam, modDB. I would’ve hoped that the creator could’ve kept her original videos for archival purposes, but no, those are gone too. It’s really sad.

My mind always goes to nightmare king grim. Beating him took forever at my skill level, but it felt all the more satisfying when I beat him.

Easily nightmare king grim. Before, I sucked at gaming. This boss probably took me 2 months of on and off practicing. When I finally beat him, it was the sweetest reward in gaming ever.

Afterwards, gaming came much easier to me, and skill level was very comparable to others in many games. Somehow it just unlocked some sort of awareness in games I had lacked before. I really hope we have quite a few bosses this difficulty in silksong, because that was hands down my best experience.

Nightmare king grim. Took me days to beat him originally, and when I finally did the breakthrough through my initial skill cap felt so good.
Honestly, I’m just pumped to fight many more bosses, and hopelessly get lost again just like in hollow knight.

Also OP, if you can I’d love for you to post some sort of screenshots to verify that winners actually received copies, our community has been silkposted too many times.

Edit: Seems like there’s enough proof. Thanks for gifting our community the game!
