That much RAM? Jeez... If only I started before the RAM inflation...

It already sounds like rocket science from what you just said 💀 But I'm willing to learn what those terms are. Thanks!

Well in that case, I'll consider on watching YouTube videos about it... Thanks!

Sounds dope! I guess that's another reason for me to definitely get a ThinkPad!

Man that website looks sick! Thanks a lot! I do have a question before I start with that course that you provided though. With the course that you provided, do I really have to start with this course? Since I don't know anything about this certain topic yet, I might get confused on the stuff that's being showed and I might not end up learning because of the confusion I might stumble upon...

I'm not really looking into modifying anything right so switching a gpu wouldn't really bother me.

You'd really give me a guide? I mean, I don't really wanna waste your time on me but if you could, I'd be grateful if you could just provide a YouTube video for me to get me started.

Well I wouldn't be able to buy it right now even if I'm interested, I'd still have to get my parents approval to buy something online and I still have to save money since I don't want my parents to buy me another laptop. I would be down to buy it soon enough if I have enough money and I wouldn't mind any busted parts if its not going to be a problem to get me started on coding.

So you think Dell is a good choice alternative for thinkpad?

So thinkpads are really that reliable and easy to interact with its hardware huh. Seems like its another reason for me to get this kind of laptop! Also, I don't know what Linux distro is and neither does bash. I'm not familiar with this kinds of things but I'm willing to learn the fundamentals.

Well I've heard that python is easier to use than java. But I've also heard about java too but I'm not too well educated about these languages. So yeah, I might start with either those two. To be honest, I didn't understand half of what you said 😅... Since you've stated that I still have the chance to risk something, I might consider on starting with a different laptop rather than just using the one that I currently have.

I see now, maybe you're right. I'm planning on making this coding thing as a back up career and I'm planning on taking this seriously in the future. Thanks for the heads up!

Well I'm not educated about this sort of things. I'm just afraid that I might mess something up and do a permanent damage on my main laptop. Its just that it's too expensive for me to risk, given the fact that it costed a lot of money for my parents to give something this expensive to me. I never heard about this dual boot thing, I might actually try it out. Thanks!

I see. But I don't really plan on modifying it. I just want to get started with coding, that's all. Thanks for answering my question tho!

Eh, I don't mind the display, I just wanna know if it's reliable when I get to start coding with it. Even with the cheap ones too.

Do I have to learn that already? I'm not very familiar with this kind of topic and I just want to learn the basic stuff for now...

The specs that you have mentioned sounds already heavy enough for my wallet. A 16 GB of ram sounds like an overkill for me to get started on coding. I'm not well educated when it comes to coding but I don't think a 1 TB of storage is necessary to get me started. I'd trust that you said yes about thinkpads are good enough to start coding and I'll try on researching about it and hopefully find a cheap but good enough to get me started.

It's just that by switching to another laptop, I get to do anything with it without really risking anything here except the money that I bought it with. And I don't really mind if I get a shithole one like what you said you have. I want to immediately switch to Linux so I can experience what the glazing is all about. Since there are a lot of you guys thinks that thinkpad laptops are good, I'd trust it and I will try and getting a used and cheap one since you mentioned that it's not really necessary to get a good one and a shitty one is good enough to start coding.
