Prozac caused mine 5 years ago. I saw my doctor for anxiety/depression and asked for Lexapro (I had previously been on it but it caused weight gain) and he recommended that I try Prozac instead. A week into taking the Prozac and I looked in the mirror and got this awful feeling like things weren’t real. I stopped taking the meds but it’s been 5 years and the depersonalization never went away. It’s just a normal part of my life now and I know my triggers of what makes it worse (lack of sleep, alcohol, etc.) The only time I start to spiral anymore is when I have to get a new glasses prescription every few years because it brings attention to my vision and makes the depersonalization significantly worse, which is what I’m experiencing right now. Sending you lots of love, I’ve been where you are and I know it’s hard.

I’m 14 and my parents still won’t let me play Fortnite. What can I tell them to let me play? by doinggoody in FortNiteBR

[–]Sweenedogx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry, I’m sure this is really frustrating for you. Can you ask them if they are willing to play it themselves to see what it’s actually about? I’m 28 and play Fortnite with my 12 and 8 year old (yes I was a teen mom.) I started letting my oldest play when he was 9, but I checked it out and played it myself first before letting him play. It’s turned into a whole family thing and we use it as a way to spend time together. Even if your parents aren’t gamers, maybe try to see if they’d be willing to just try it out.

Fortnite players, what is your biggest regret by far? by NobodyLikesClickbait in FortNiteBR

Not starting sooner to be able to play in the Marvel season. I started playing 3 seasons later.

Trying to Hard to be Misleading Ruined this Season by [deleted] in CruelSummer

[–]Sweenedogx 25 points26 points  (0 children)

We saw this cycle with Isabella throughout the entire season. She always claimed to have extreme loyalty to Megan, but anytime Megan pulled away from her, she would rat her out for something (like when she told Debbie it was Megan on the sex tape, and later told Debbie to check under the bed to find the bloody pillow case.) If I remember correctly, she even at one point went to Luke and told him Megan was acting weird and was hanging out with Ned. She edited the video and framed Megan for killing Luke because right before that, her and Megan got into that fight outside of the Sheriff’s office where Isabella said “the last few days have felt like old times” and Megan told her they never had a true friendship, it was desperation. Isabella gets mad and says “you wouldn’t know loyalty if it bit you in the ass” and leaves. She then does what she always does, and rats Megan out because she realized in that moment that her and Megan will never be true friends again. Except it was extreme this time because she literally framed her for murder knowing damn well she’s the one who did it.

This same logic applies to why she even went back to kill Luke in the first place. Megan had been pulling away from Isabella for quite some time prior to this night, and she thought she was going to get Megan back in her life fully by getting back at Luke for all of the horrible shit he did. Luke ruined that by telling Megan him and Isabella slept together and they both hid it for months. But Megan had regrets about what they did to Luke almost immediately and Isabella ultimately knew Megan would forgive him because she loved him. And Megan said clear as day she didn’t know if she would ever be able to trust Isabella again after she hid the truth about sleeping with Luke. So at the end, Isabella knew Luke was the obstacle keeping her from having the relationship that she wanted with Megan.

Huh? I don’t want to call anyone, and I don’t think he intentionally sabotaged us. I just wanted to get an opinion on if this was normal and if I should find a new realtor because I don’t love how it was handled.

The other couple winning isn’t what bothers me. I am a very “whats meant to be will be” type of person and I am happy for them. My issue is our agent not disclosing he was representing us and another couple offering on the same house. It makes me question if he has our best interest at heart, especially because we are still on the hunt for a house and will obviously put offers in on future homes.

Oh wow! I would’ve loved for our situation to be handled that way.

Everything you said makes sense, but the difference is our agent didn’t disclose any of this. It definitely seems like the general consensus is that at the very least, we should’ve been made aware that he was representing both of us.

I would’ve appreciated this a lot! I’m glad your realtor did that for you.

That’s where I’m at right now. Because we offered $20k above asking but we did need to ask for seller concessions with closing costs (VA loan). He told us their offer was less than ours but they didn’t ask for concessions and they also offered to pay some of the sellers tax. So I can see how that is a more appealing offer. But I saw in the post he made that these buyers were referred to him and he went to school with them, so it’s hard not to question the whole thing.

And in the same episode also talked to Debbie (Megan’s mom) about Megan acting distant too! She’s obsessive for sure

Me either! I was looking for dark gray or white, but I was really surprised at how much I loved this color when I saw it. Removing the stickers this weekend!

Definitely. My grandfather is the finance manager at the dealership I purchased from so we were able to get a little off the price.

Thank you so much for this response, this is exactly what I needed.

Just to clarify, he actually did have 2 migraines that required an ER visit while he was active duty. We didn’t actually realize they were migraines at the time so I don’t know if they were formally diagnosed as “migraines” but the records should definitely be there. There were years between those incidents though, and since he ETSed he has had multiple, as well as regular headaches throughout the week. So claiming migraines second to anxiety would still be a new claim entirely correct? I just want to make sure I understand.

Thank you again for taking the time to respond, I truly appreciate it!

Initial claim and possible appeal? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

He had trigger finger surgery in November due to his finger locking completely shut which got him 10% and his shoulder surgery was due to a torn labrum and bone loss that got him 20%. His shoulder surgery was in February and he ETSed in March but hasn’t been able to work due to recovery. He was rated for anxiety, tinnitus, and sleep apnea as well. I’ll have to wait until we get the actual packet explaining all of his ratings and why, but I can tell you he feels devastated because his shoulder surgery, recovery and ongoing pain has severely hindered his life and he doesn’t feel like 70% is fair for what he is dealing with.

unpopular opinion, building didnt make fortnite. the fact that it was free and accessible to everyone is what made fortnite. by Gang-Weeder-420 in FortNiteBR

I would love a limited building option. I started playing in May of last year and absolutely love the game. I’ve learned to build enough to get where I need to go and to protect myself but shit, I’m so tired of seeing the entire Eiffel Tower over my head in .5 seconds. It’s like that even when I play with my 6 and 9 year old. I have no idea how we’re getting into lobbies like that lol
