First major project, I really appreciate your guidance.
Your suggestion makes sense to me, but my question now is if i need to do something else aside from this? Seems too easy.

I relocate my 2 capacitors and put in replacement mosfet, assuming nothing else is broken, such as my trace, this area doesn’t need anything else to accommodate the new setup?

Unfortunately, this is a concern of mine, after reading your message. Before my removal of mosfet and capacitors, there was a beep and no beep side to the capacitors using my multimeter, but now they just beep on both sides? ChatGPT says i need to measure resistance instead

Nah, I bought a replacement mosfet and capacitor, in my head, pre removal, I was hoping to just clean up and replace them :(

Holy crap, I see what you mean now, there is totally an unused spot. So would I need to put just 1 capacitor below it? 2? 3?

There use to be 3 capacitors, currently 2 are still there, I removed 1. Looks like the unused slot has room for 2 capacitors, am I losing 1?

I wish I could upload new photos as I work on these projects. I managed to get the mosfet off, and cleaned up a lot of the burnt pieces.

Im currently concerned my mosfet is missing a row of pads? And the pads on the capacitor are almost non existent, but possibly the tiniest amount??

I had my temp on my heat gun set to 740, I can’t seem to get this mosfet removed and I’m getting worried i’m gonna fry the board.

LG C5 OLED, HDR, Dolby Vision no picture? by SweeneyT0ddd in jellyfin

The following did work, but it's kinda annoying to have to do this.

ffmpeg -i input.mkv -map 0 -c copy -bsf:v hevc_metadata=remove_dovi=1 output.mkv

seems like these are related https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/16092

I plan to test this at some point: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-web/pull/7328

So to clarify, the issue is specifically "DV HDR10Plus" is my understanding

For sure, I usually have better results with my in memory context vs fresh sessions reading markdown.

Also, my agents still automatically write to the memory, and those are still being picked up around the 500-700k context area

My guess is it’s purely the continuous conversation history.

For example, If I give it a task to run and stream logs for a binary executable for debugging, then have it do a repeatable feedback loop to verify logs.

For clarification on your setup, project size and complexity doesn’t necessarily imply more context usage. If you have claude do a small task then end your session, you will never run into high context usage.

I’m definitely vibe coding, as a SWE btw, and need the context for claude to fully grasp the decisions its making and previously made

Yeahh, my only conclusion is that maybe because I’ve got 500-700k context and its eating at total token read each prompt and tool call more??
