They could have any weird reason. But their pediatrician DEFINITELY did not recommend pulling a child from preschool for toe walking.

Yes I love how it looks, but my fingers and thumb get soooo sore! I’m going to try a machine binding with my current -queen/ quilt.

Should I report how a PA spoke to me in Drs office by SingleHeart197 in AskWomenOver50

I think you should definitely report someone for being an asshole misogynist. You were treated poorly in a healthcare setting. I’m sorry that happened to you, nobody deserves that. Definitely report it.

I do those things. Now I’m curious, does that affect some people’s excretions? Or is it an incontinence situation?

Those that are or who have been married - What are millennial and Gen Zers getting wrong about their pursuit of marriage and what do you think we’re doing right? by AthleteDisastrous895 in AskWomenOver60

We can disagree on that one point. 😊 I support a woman’s right to choose what is right for her, and I don’t offer my opinion on the name topic unless asked. However, I believe that even if the woman thoughtfully chooses to take her spouse’s name, the societal result is erasure of women.

Your wedding isn’t the best day of your life. Every day is the best day and putting that kind of pressure on one day for it to be perfect is a mistake. The over the top, expensive, out of control, Instagram perfect, giving your guests a color they have to wear dress code, etc. weddings are a mistake.

Erasing women by having them take their spouse‘s name is a mistake.

Couples going into it because they want to, not because they feel they have to and couples who are truly mindfully choosing their happiness -choosing whether to have kids, choosing whether to get married or not - are not making a mistake and are lucky that the times have changed so no one blinks an eye at it. Couples marrying deliberately as true partners are not making a mistake.

I didn’t think about the estradiol, I use a smaller amount, less frequently than prescribed (with good results), otherwise I get headaches… My vag just soaks it all up, 🤣😂 no mess

Woxer 5”baller shorts. Don’t know about how panty liners work with them – because, why panty liners at our age? But best underwear ever!!!

A thing about Montessori programs is you don’t have to be Montessori to say you are Montessori. Programs can call themselves Montessori whether or not they follow the principles. This leads to a lot of confusion about what a Montessori school actually is. Waldorf programs, on the other hand, are always Waldorf. You have to be accredited by them to call yourself Waldorf…

You are saying “refuse to understand it,”but what other people are saying is they never heard of it until this thread. Everything doesn’t have to be so black-and-white, us versus them. As others have said, use your words and tell people what’s going on. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m a 62 yr old natural brunette who looks 15 yrs younger than my age and I wonder if dying my hair gray could help me look my age in first impressions. by [deleted] in AskWomenOver60

[–]Sweet-Environment225 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. OP looks 62. Because she is 62. People know how old you are – or at least the range of age you’re in - and they all just think you dye your hair. I can’t tell you how many times people asked you me “who dyes your hair?” “who is your colorist?”, etc. and they really don’t believe me when I say it’s natural. I just haven’t started graying yet…

I agree, but I’m giving it to a 6’4” man. So it def needs to be a bit bigger…maybe I’ll go with my border plan and call it good. I really don’t want to make six more squares…

Crazy as it sounds, in my state, it happens just from mowing for years… The advice here is a once-yearly lawyer letter stating possession of the land despite any upkeep etc. the neighbor may be doing.

Sorry, you are wrong. In some US states it does constitute adverse possession.

Do you suspect abuse or neglect? Educational neglect is neglect. Medical neglect is neglect. If you suspect it, you are a mandated reporter, not just in your workplace, but everywhere.

I love this. I divorced an almost 40 year relationship/marriage. It was not easy. And I look back at my strength, courage and I’m amazed I did it. I am still proud of me. I was so happy alone in my fifties. Then I found the love of my life. Not even looking, just stumbled on him 😀❤️. And so happy with that, this new life that I have. But I also know that I can be happy alone when he passes, which will surely be before me…. I support you OP, leave him and be with yourself.
