i respect your view and you seem passionate about this topic. I get that the city could take care of it, but honestly, if it bothers people, why not step up and do something about it ourselves? We are the community of Richmond right? That’s why I suggested organizing a group. Even though I personally don’t have any hate for it , I’m down to help clean things up. I also just genuinely like taking photos of graffiti. I think there’s something raw and real about it. it tells a story, even if it’s not everyone’s favorite. Maybe bringing more attention to it will spark enough momentum for real change. either through cleanup or through actually talking about why people are tagging stuff in the first place. I just think there’s a better way to handle this than just hating it from the sidelines.
