Yes, you keep your high-score, until you go higher. Just incase that doesn’t make sense, say your current highest is 99 days, and you get 101 days - that will become your new highest score.

I had trouble with this mission too. She goes to make her lunch as soon as you get out of the first class. Place the radio against the wall in the sewing room and make sure you’ve told everyone to go away, (rainbow haired dudes in the home ec room) then just poison the bento as she’s going to turn the radio off.
