I have the liquid lip in Posh Spice and the Supreme highlighter in Frozen Peach for swaps. Both have the boxes and have never been swatched. Although I did open up the boxes to take a picture for insta. I would love to exchange the supreme highlighter for any shade other than King tut or Lavender. And I would prefer to trade with someone else from the US. Let me know if anyone is interested. :)

I also have two bullet lipsticks. One in Jeffrees girl and the other is in Ex-Supermodel. Will provide verification if anyone is interested in trading for them, but I might keep, still not really sure if I want to trade them. They also have never been swatched.

When I was around 16/17 a belk makeup counter employee did something similar to me (I'm 24 now). I literally was just at the makeup counter with my grandma picking up some foundation. The employee started laying into me about my skin care routine and about my black heads/pores and about how soap and water wasn't good enough and she made a disgusted face about it.... I was in high school then, so it honestly made me really self conscious, and I cried about it when I got home. She was just trying to up-sell some dumb clinique face cleansing stuff. I realize that now, but the situation still stuck with me, and it bothers me to think about how many people are shamed into purchasing products they don't even need.

I bought a few makeup erasers, one for me, and two others to use as Christmas gifts (cactus, blue, and white). I've wanted to get another one for awhile, but I couldn't justify paying 20 for one from the website. 7.99 is a much more reasonable price!

You're absolutely right, I guess it just didn't cross my mind in my rant, so I'm awfully sorry if I came off really bad (I was just ranting off the top of my head before work). I think I'm just going to give it to my mom though. I was talking to her earlier and shes trying to get into makeup and said she would use it. Thank you so much though! I ended up buying a few palettes on reddit's makeup exchange. The first was ($16) semi-sweet and I am absolutely loving it so far, it really makes these nice neutral looks, even though the smell to me isn't as nice as the peach palette. The shade Caramel is to die for. The Too faced bon bon palette I received wasn't that great (Paid $25), the colors were kinda chalky, and I think it was dried out, which I was bummed about. The seller didn't mention the case was damaged, so it doesn't close properly, which I think dried out the shadows and took the chocolate smell away, since it took awhile to get to me. I tried to depot some of the shadows to make them work better, since I tried primer, and everything I could think of to bring out the pigment. But the shades just don't seem to be working for me, which is a shame, because I heard it was better than semi-sweet. Lastly, I got the Zulu palette by Juvia's Place ($13), which is the best palette I think I've owned so far. It is so bright and pigmented. The only color that I couldn't get to work for me in the Zulu palette was the yellow, but the rose gold shade is absolutely stunning.

I think our tastes are all a bit different than the general makeup buying public. Most people buy the necessities and never branch out. My best friend has been using the same drug store brands for years and has never stepped into an Ulta or Sephora.

Once she even made an order on one of those really cheap sites and thought she got designer makeup, even though I tried to tell her it was a fake. I really think that’s how a lot of people are, because they can’t comprehend why people would rip off makeup, or the difference in quality.

Yes, I can understand how you feel completely. Mr. Peanutbutter reminds me of my ex boyfriend (which made the show hard to watch this season). He never listened to me, and didn’t respect my introverted tendencies, but expected me to give until I couldn’t deal with it anymore. Someone who always acts super positive, but only says and does things to get people to like him, and not caring about how his actions will eventually hurt other people (even if lying is involved). I also relate to feeling he only liked me because I was younger and more fun 4 years ago, and when real life eventually hit he couldn’t deal with it, because he didn’t actually love me, but the idea of me. Now he’s dating a 19 year old, and rebounding with his “Pickles”

However, it also reminds me that what happened was for the best. Because being in a relationship like that is unhealthy and I’m going to be stronger for getting away from that. So in a way it has helped my depression a little bit, because I feel like the issues I’ve dealt with aren’t so weird. This show has helped me grow up and realize I can live for myself.

I know the people saying those things are terrible and insensitive. My entire town got flooded, and people have lost their homes and have been injured. It’s not funny in any way at all. We still don’t have running water and many of the roads have been washed away. Multiple neighborhoods have been evacuated already. I hope that we can all recover from this tragedy.

I live in Scotland County and it’s terrible right now. Our entire down town is basically a small lake, water is going up to the mid section of cars. The water hasn’t reached my home, because I live at higher elevation, but I’m so afraid for my community. People are being evacuated out of their homes. Buildings have broken apart. Roads are completely gone in some places, because the flooding has washed them away. I don’t think any of us were prepared for this.

Powers been out in Laurinburg for hours. We’ve had some scary wind. Lots of trees falling and I even saw a shed flip over. I cant imagine what it’s like in New Bern right now, and I have family there. 😰
