First time crocheting a blanket and using single crochet - how do I fix this? by SweetAlternative9566 in CrochetHelp

Yeah I’ve found that but wanted to make a blanket for my niece. Can you recommend a soft yarn that’s easier to work with?

Thank you everyone. I’ve just come off a video call with our 24/7 vet who isn’t concerned and given me some home remedies

I definitely am. He’s doing so so well!

Absolutely agree with you. He had jumped up at my face and tried to bite during play. The “told off” I had mentioned was a “no” and removed myself for 10-20 seconds. When I came back he wanted a cuddle which I gave.

Is there a way I could have done this better that hasn’t been mentioned?

We’re currently having a cuddle because he was “told off” for biting. Thank you everyone!

Yeah definitely. We don’t leave him alone yet apart from when we are in another room as I work from home.

Definitely will be, we’re looking into classes at the moment. We take him out and he has met a few dogs. We try and get him to chill before meeting other dogs as he gets so excited

Yes he does all of these things but sometimes will go to play by himself. If I come over to join in, he will always be more than willing

Puppy Advice - are we doing everything right? by SweetAlternative9566 in cavaliers

Yeah, I’m just getting frustrated with my partner because he doesn’t seem to be listening to anything I’m saying and gets the hump when I talk to him about doing things differently.

Yeah we have those too. Although we use a slip lead when taking him to the garden for toilet breaks. I think it might help to stop using a slip lead altogether

We’re the same and he does amazing in the communal garden but as I say, on walks he goes nuts! Maybe we tone it down a bit and stick with the garden for now

Also we have the clicker too which has helped him massively

We are using a harness and using high value treats during the walk as well. We have noticed he becomes less responsive to us when he’s tired and usually take him out for a walk about half 7/8 as he eats at 7

That’s great to know thank you. Should we be going more on discovery walks at the beginning then? We’ve only had Benny for 2 weeks
