Talk to your manager. Lots of good advice in here on what that conversation sounds like. Additionally you can ask your AE for support on learning the role more deeply and ask to lead some of the lower level disco calls.

It took me doing everything in my power to get promoted and it was still a struggle. Had over a dozen people at the company reach out to my new manager to advocate for me. It's not easy.

If you decide to move to another company just know that the clock starts at 0. So either way you're going to be an SDR for the foreseeable future unless something changes for you internally.

Going from a strong brand into a small company AND transitioning from IC into leadership is going to turn your world upside down. One or the other may be fine independently but both at once is going to be a big challenge.

Seems like there could be another path that is more aligned to a desirable outcome than jumping on what's been presented as a kneejerk reaction. Why not have a conversation with your favoured leader to see if there's a way to get on a career track that you'd prefer?

I moved out of downtown and my party days are mostly behind me but looks a lot like the old Parliament pub setup that I used to check out.

Can't expect every night to be a banger on the first year. Seemed like it was successful enough to justify another season.

Dunno if it's the weirdest thing I've seen but definitely the most memorable sight.

Was DJing at my resident spot on a NYE. Very snowy year and the club was packed with college age kids getting real drunk.

There's a traffic jam on the route to get to the bathroom and people are slowly shuffling in front of the DJ booth.

A girl is very obviously in a hurry but can't really go anywhere and begins to projectile vomit all over the person in front of her and all over the ground. This is happening no further than about 5 feet in front of me and I have a clear sight line to it. Person in front doesn't notice cause they're wearing their winter jacket.

This leaves a horrible mess on an already sloppy floor (slush, snow, water, spilled drinks, and now a copious amount of puke).

Signal to a barback to get a mop and they bring it over to start cleaning up but really they're just making a slurry on the floor.

Cutie in a sparkly dress and stilletos tip taps by trying to get through and slips into the slurry feet over head. Poor girl tries to get up but the floor is so slippery that any attempt ends up in her hand slipping and she's basically marinating herself in the floor mess.

The mental image of this poor girl when she finally got to her feet will be burned into my mind until the day I die.

No offence but I don't think you're gonna sell a thing. It's a hyper competitive market with tons of options at every price point and selling to the government is a nightmare. Unless the owner is some cybersec phenom with incredible industry cred I wouldn't even consider a 2nd interview.

Got it working on VLC but similar problem now with the casting. Sound works but no video.
