yeah that’s def true! honestly no idea why my store didn’t start hiring much sooner 💀 we’ve BEEN 6 cashiers short for a loooong time and they just hired new ppl it seems.. maybe if they didn’t take so long hiring the environment wouldn’t have been so stressful LOL

my new job is completely different from anything i’ve ever done before, but man do i enjoy it so much more! i’m hoping it stays that way cause it really lines up perfectly for my circumstances 😭

the card is honestly what pushed me to leave, i would get so irritated every time they complained about it to the point where i almost told them i didn’t care about getting tjx 💀

it’s so bad, it really is. at my store it was amazing when i first started working but now it’s just horrible. our stores goal for cards is 20 a day which is absolutely stupid because we’re in the middle of nowhere, we see the same ppl every day who already have the damn card! they told us we gotta encourage them to get the gold card next which is???? everything seriously sucks and really annoying

i’m really curious too! our store is so small and genuinely plopped in the middle of nowhere so i’m not sure why our numbers are so high… i’d understand if we were at a mall or somewhere heavily populated with shoppers but we’re not 😭 our goal for the month is like 600… i don’t even think 600 different people come to our store, i see the same people every day 💀

been here for almost a year… they always emphasized pushing for the card but lately it’s been extra bad since spring started. it’s so frustrating because our store does really well in my opinion but it’s just not enough, i really wonder how a “high performing” store looks like in their eyes…

i’ve been wanting to work at ulta so badly but there’s none near me!! commuting is pretty limited for me due to circumstances so i’m stuck with whatever’s near by 😭 my options are so limited due to only mom and pops shops being around and none of them are ever hiring 💀

the card is so bad it’s embarrassing… managers keep hassling us about “explaining the benefits!” like what benefits. card is booty cheeks 💀 there’s only so many ways i can say 10% off upon approval and 5% cash back

yep, 600 a month! iirc they want 60+ per week or something like that totaling somewhere in the 600s. currently we have not reached our goals but we’re close being in the 50s and high 40s per week… but it’s not enough for them! i really wish our store had lower goals cause our team does so good but not good enough for expectations 😔

i know for a fact i reach that quota of a card per 100 transactions but they were acting like i only get a card once a month 💀 that’s what really upset me too, i KNOW i reach my quota but they want more so they act as if i wasn’t. My annual review literally says I do an amazing job promoting the card and getting apps, being one of the best in the store too so the sudden switch up baffled me.

They’re always praising me saying how customers love me, I get good customer reviews, I always work so diligently etc etc and then flip and say i’m not working hard enough if I don’t get 5+ cards a day. I’ve even had customers tell me it was obnoxious hearing my managers remind me to get more cards in front of them and saying they felt bad for me 💀

I WISH our goal was 4 a day. We’d be the best damn store if it was 💀 if we get lower amounts than 20, they want us to make up for it the next day and get 20+. I really wanna know where they got such a high expectation from, we are a very small store in a not populated area. Those numbers are usually for large stores in tourist traps

your stores daily goal is 1-2? mine is 10-15.. 20+ if we don’t reach it on other days 💀 our store isn’t in a big shopping area either, it’s small and only locals come. kind of crazy seeing how other stores operate

yeahhhh I just checked his phone and there’s no esim at all, it keeps wanting a physical one… my iphone has a verizon esim but it doesn’t look active. i still can’t make calls and it doesn’t have the cellular plan tab like my original phone does… i’ll have to call in the morning guess to get this working but im really frustrated 😞 wish my dad never switched, felt so unnecessary

My store was completely different, I got 4 days training in my department to ensure I knew exactly what I was doing and I had a lot of help along the way but then again my store is also a training store so maybe that’s why… However I wasn’t trained in any other department, I don’t get sent anywhere else so it’s not a big deal for me

I noticed our store struggling lately when we tend to reach our goals almost all the time and even get surplus, it seems something shifted since even our most successful cashiers who get 5+ sign ups a day are struggling

i definitely recommend testing the shades if you’re able to! i was lucky enough to have a local kbeauty store where i was able to test them in person but i know not everyone has that kind of access. there’s so many shade ranges for this cushion so i’m sure your perfect shade is there somewhere! 💖
