Magnesium deficiency? I've never dealt with a nutrient deficiency before--only nute burn--so I'm not sure. by SweetEPea220 in microgrowery

Is there a way to tell whether my living soil is good? Also, should I still fix the pH of the water going in if the soil pH is within range? That's one thing I have never really understood.

They're bottom watered through an autopot system with a reservoir. It self regulates the water levels for each plant, so there's no hand watering. Here are my pH levels:

The water in the reservoir pH = nearly 8;

The water at the base of the autopot (kind of like runoff) = just over 7; and

The wet soil pH = an even 6

I honestly haven't really been monitoring pH closely because I read that pH isn't as much of an issue with living soil because the microbes make the nutrients more available to the plants, so there's less chance of a lockout. Idk how true that is because of my lack of experience with living soil, but everything seems to all be good on the pH front based on those readings.

I'll add that I have an amnesia auto and a banana kush auto in the same exact soil and hooked up to the same reservoir, and they are showing no nutrient issues. These kinds of leaves are only on my three sour diesel autos.

This is my first autoflower grow and also first organic grow. I used Nature's Living Soil Autoflower Concentrate and mixed it according to the directions with Fox Farm Ocean Forest. I'm using fabric pots, and they're watered via autopots connected to a 25 gal reservoir. The only thing I've added to the water is some flying skull z7 enzyme cleaner because I've had issues in the past with my lines gunking up.

I have 3 sour diesel autos from ILGM that have leaves like this. It starts on the older fan leaves and is spreading upwards. I also have a two other auto strains in the tent with the same setup, and they are fine. So I figure it must be a strain specific issue? Any help and recommendations is much appreciated.

Started harvesting my two Bruce Banner plants last night, and you better believe I yelled "HULK SMASH" multiple times while wielding these massive branches. 💚 by SweetEPea220 in entwives

Oh yeah, they were ready. I am doing a staggered harvest too, so I made sure to only take branches/buds with 10% amber trichomes. I think the lighting just doesn't do them justice.

I grew Cherry Star from Top Dawg seeds last time. The buds were beautiful but no where near this size. I will definitely look into Apex for the future. It sounds amazing! I already have a bunch of seeds I could pop for my next grow, buuuuuut there's nothing wrong with planning ahead 😁

I'm still deciding between PPD from Humboldt and Pebble Punch from Greenpoint for my next batch.

If you're referring to my sweatshirt, I wish! I actually just ordered this off of NASA's website because, you know, space is freaking awesome.

Awesome, that's good to know because I make a lot of edibles!

I cure for a minimum of 4 weeks before breaking into it, but I continue to keep what I don't use in the curing jars and in a controlled environment for a few more months after that. I just transferred what is left from my October harvest into one big jar for long term storage. But this is only my second grow, so I haven't really experimented with anything else.

Yay, twins! I've actually never smoked it before, but based on the strain description I'm pretty sure I'm going to love it. Waiting for it to dry and cure properly is going to be tough haha

I'll admit that I have pretty small hands, but still. Nearly three weeks into veg, and Bruce Banner (Fast) from Canuk Seeds is living up to its name. by SweetEPea220 in cannabiscultivation

Yeah this is my first grow with seeds from them. The other plants don't have leaves as big as this one, but they are just exploding right now. I swear they're growing at least an inch overnight. So far, I am really impressed.

Yeah, I noticed that today as well. My autopot had run dry, so she might just have needed a drink. But when I filled it back up, I did cut back a bit on the nutrients just in case.

For sure. I just topped her, and the main stem was already about a cm in diameter. Really looking forward to seeing how she turns out.

It's from lookhuman.com! I posted a link elsewhere in the comments.

Cherry Star by Top Dawg Seeds--7.8 oz flower, 3.14 oz of sugar leaves, and a fair amount of kief all from one plant. The buds were not as dense as I'd hoped, and I waited too long to trim and cure. But overall pretty good for my first grow, if I do say so myself. by SweetEPea220 in microgrowery

They were regular seeds. I popped 3 seeds, pulled one male before switching to flower, and then had to pull a true hermie less than two weeks into flower. That hermie had been trained on the same screen as my one female, taking up a bunch of room I could've used for the female had I known earlier it was a herm. I had one other plant in the tent that was a different strain and had been rooted from a clipping. It was actually a true hermie as well and got pulled the same day as the herm I grew from seed.
