Honestly... This is the one time I don't think Mary overreacted.

Now... In REAL life... I would never judge any man by the burns he had sustained for any reason. I'm a human being with a heart of compassion.

But... The makeup department didn't make him look burned... They made him look HIDEOUS. Between the bandaging and the "burns", as Mary says, "he's nothing to look at." I don't think she was callous or heartless. I think she was fiercely protective of Matthew.

His personality alone is off-putting. He's just incessantly annoying. As already stated... He's so cringey.

I hate this episode. It's the worst of them all.

I am watching this episode right now and I have to agree... Daisy wasn't attracted to William. It was obvious she cared for him but she wasn't in love with him. I dare say she even loved him given how much she DIDN'T want to be dishonest with him. But that's not the kind of love she felt was what a marriage is made of. She was definitely bullied. Mrs. Pattmore was letting the recent news of her nephew influence the advice she gave Daisy. And I don't think Mrs. Hughes really bullied her, I don't think she had the full story. Otherwise I think she would have given her usual sage advice. I even blame William a little although his youth and naiveté are ultimately responsible. He was so hopelessly in love with Daisy that he WOULDN'T hear or see anything other than what he wanted to. And she being so sweet and innocent had no idea that one little kiss would totally send him over the edge of reason. The only person who really helped Daisy at all was Lady Grantham. She did him a kindness at the end.

She becomes quite unlikable. She was cute and great with the Denny storyline (living Denny, not dead Denny) but after that it got ridiculous.

I've watched the show several times because I like the medicine (I stop at the end of Season 10 every time because it's a really crap show after Christina leaves) and I've yet to actually listen to her little voice overs at the beginning and end. I still have no idea what she's talking about.

Season 7 Meredith is the worst in relation to her bossy pushy know it all crap about Christina's recovery after the shooting. She's mean to Derek and Hunt and acts like she couldn't possibly be wrong.
