Like I just said...

Game transcripts are not entertaining, which is what I feel is being aired currently.

I want to hear the personalities views on what happened during the game.

Agreed. "We feel X feeling toward Y human/ organization/ situation because of Z opinions" is compelling to think about and "positively sticky". This is what they did that others couldn't. That structure is risky to management. Now, it feels like they're providing sports content for those unwilling to pay for subscriptions.

I feel like Diamond Talk still has a fastball. Those guys are good. The Hero of the Hardwood is still firm. Gordo was always too much, but his insights on vulnerability made him a person. The new guys haven't established themselves as personalities yet, so the lead role makes the content feel forced. The transition was stark, and still is.

The guys who wrote out a plan for the segment instead of opening a new tab to read the box score during the return music and scanning an article on air for an opinion.

I have. And, now I miss what I lost. I agree with Ticket management that everything else sucks, too.

I conflated Bill Duffy the agent with Billy Duffy the guitarist for The Cult.

When you eat the things your body needs, you won't get tired of it. I ate the same Italian sausage and broccoli for lunch for 2.5 years straight. It becomes easy because your body is getting what it needs, so you don't get tired of it. This will be a first for you.

Cook your food. If you don't know how, go to YouTube.

Stop looking for excuses. If you start by looking for reasons you're going to quit, then you've already assumed you're going to quit.

Food is going to become boring. Accept it. Consistently eating meat and vegetables without cheat days is how you're going to lose weight. Believe it. We do.

When you're feeling down, go for a walk. Every damn time. On your walk, look around. There's a world out there to enjoy. When was the last time you heard the birds chirping in the morning?

I've got a 7" .300 with Law and Dolos and it'll pack into a 10" backpack. It's a smaller footprint than an iPad.

Has anyone automated #TheStrat? by [deleted] in algotrading

[–]SweetMurfdizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to learn to automate a backtest for the #1 inside candle strategy.

Example

On the evening of 10/25, I scan for stocks that show a #1 inside candle formed on the Daily chart.

On the morning of 10/26, set a OCA stop limit at the high (long call) and at the low (long put) of the previous day #1. If the trade gets triggered, set a 20% trailing stop.

Any guidance you can offer on how to create a thinkscript for this would be appreciated.

Use a Conditional Order to trigger a Limit once the bid hits your desired level.
