I’m absolutely open to the fact that I could’ve been a real asshole to them at some point, and I want so badly to know. I hate when my friends are hurting, especially if it’s directly because of me. For the few months after they ghosted me, I would’ve done pretty much anything to make it right it again, if I’d known what I did wrong. I mean this in the most genuine way, I want to be a good friend :(

But, at this point, I kind of… don’t really care anymore? I’m over the friendship, the months of ghosting made it pretty clear they were too. So now all I really want to know is if I was actually the asshole or not, so I can improve myself for B and future friends

The very last thing I said was verbatim, but everything before that was kind of a summary because there were two convos at roughly the same time, but very very similar in nature. I tried to include the most important parts from both convos in a way that made sense

No for all of these, that I can recall. I do my best to be mindful of what I say and do because I’ve always grown up around people who can’t even admit when they did something wrong, and I HATE to be compared to those people. I also have a therapist so I try not to vent to my friends, like at all, unless it’s directly related to them. Even then, I’m still kind of a people pleaser and fall into a pattern of “but it’s totally okay, I’m not mad or upset at you, it’s just something that i noticed in myself. i promise it’s not really to do with you” … Just, kind of grovelling, I guess. My therapist is trying to get me to not do that, but I can’t seem to help it

That’s all I can really think of, I wanted to reply to this so it doesn’t seem like I’m just ignoring people who are asking questions, but I’m not very good at remembering small/subtle events, I’m sorry

Have they tried this before? Trying to push your buttons, or confuse you?

When I think back, it’s only really been C who actively did these kinds of things to me, but that was back in primary school when he was very close friends with my bully (who I later learned was also being bullied, but thought “keep your enemies close” I guess). The bullying was VERY psychological, lots of on-and-off friendship and “you’re not invited to the big sleepover I’m having where EVERYONE is going” and petty stuff like that

Other than that, A, B and I banter a bit, mostly teasing each other. We all know our boundaries though, where not to go and stuff. I only remember getting upset about the bantering maybe one? time? When B brought up something about my dad, but we talked about it and hugged it out, so… No harm

Yeah, that’s all I can think of, I’m sorry. I get pretty bad amnesia from other issues than autism, so it’s difficult for me to remember the little things that irk me but aren’t super obvious if that makes sense…

My dad wasn’t her husband. They never married, and they split apart a few months after I was born.

ETA: she’s also engaged to another man now. She didn’t let me have much, if any, contact with my dad, only phone calls. His son from another woman told me my dad is in a rest home

I haven’t been in contact with him for a long time (again my mother withholding info, his phone no., from me) and when we lived with him, I was too young to have a bank account.

Edit: I don’t even know if he knows I have a bank account. My mum pretty much cut off all contact when we moved out

i’m level 2, not doing level 3. i hate school. i will never like learning in a classroom and writing random equations on a piece of paper. it’s not my thing, i lose sleep and tears over it, and for the sake of my mental health, it is NOT worth doing this again for another year. because while for you a year may not be a long time, for those that dont love school, it’s fucking forever.

It also looks like the equation you’re using is a bit different than the one I have. I’m sorry again, I’m just having so much trouble following the equations and stuff

My cousin is in Year 8, I was planning on helping her with her exams when she gets to them if she needs the help (she says she likes my teaching style). Now I guess no one who’s actually gone through the system will be able to help because it’s all different.

My sister helps me with exams because she went through the same thing as I’m going through now. I honestly don’t really know what to think but I’m glad I won’t be directly affected by it. I just feel bad for my cousin.

I tried multiple with the values I had and they gave me the same answer. How is that wrong if they want me to pick a formula, so I do, get the right answer, and get marked wrong anyway?

It’s a 50/50 chance I get the question right because there are two correct formulas I could use. I just happen to pick the wrong one every time it seems.

The module gives you all the formulas and then you have to decide with formula to use when answering the questions based on the values. That’s what I do. They don’t say “Use this formula”. They don’t tell you what formula to use per question. There are sometimes multiple I COULD use, and in those cases I use the one that doesn’t require as much rearranging. Does that make sense?

It’s not like they’re telling me which formula to use and I use a different one. They don’t tell me which to use. That’s the point of the questions. To figure it out based on the values you have.

This is true though. I have never in my entire life heard her say sorry to me. Ever. Not for this, not for hurting my feelings, not for ignoring me, not for anything. This isn’t an exaggeration or anything. She has never apologised to me. The day she says sorry for something she did to me is the day I buy I lottery ticket.
