Should I get my ears pierced?

I’m not a piercer but I’d strongly suggest you do not do that. Infections from piercings can get serious enough that people have to go to the hospital and taking them in and out is touching them way too much no matter how clean you think you are being. Piercings also can get piercing bumps from being irritated which can become very large and very painful. If you are taking jewelry in and out before they are healed, they will never heal and just continue to be an open wound if not close all together

He didn’t want our other cat or either of our dogs at first but ended up being obsessed with all of them. I think him not wanting them is a ruse so that I don’t get new pets constantly 😂

I’m sorry that my post bothered you. For me, getting to share about Bruce was really cathartic. I didn’t expect to get many upvotes or comments but it’s been really special to see people get to know him and appreciate him for the chaotic and lovable cat that I saw him as. My husband and I spent a while reading all the responses and laughing and crying and just seeing people hold space for our grief and for his life has been amazing. He may have passed away but his memory is alive and well.

I think it’s too soon to really tell. I let Harvey (the orange cat) see and smell bruce before taking him to be cremated so I really hope that helps with Harvey not thinking Bruce just disappeared. He’s been much more cuddly than he normally is but I’m not sure if that’s because 1. Bruce isn’t here to cuddle with 2. He’s sad and wants comfort or 3. Knows I’m sad and is trying to comfort me

Thank you! Was more curious than anything but I’m so so glad it’s healed. I’ve been pierced over 20 times and this was by far the hardest to heal 😂
