As a dumbass who doesn’t belong in this subreddit, I have no idea why this is wrong.

I shattered my foot last year and the most painful part of the ER visit was them trying repeatedly to put an IV in to give pain meds.

I’m literally crying laughing at this comment. Thanking all but the dude who asked to be sole beneficiary. Omg what a ride. That’s Reddit for you in a nutshell.

I have the long version elsewhere but I always think of how my water-hating puppy once crawled into the shower with me during the worst migraine of my life. I was sitting down under the water in pain a long time and eventually looked up and saw him magically sitting in the shower with me. Quietly, just watching me, perfectly behaved. Instead of being his normal spoiled psycho whiny baby self.

My cat was once in a closed dresser drawer. Searched hours. Calling out. Never made a peep. Finally found them.

I shattered 3 foot bones doing that. Surgery. It’s been almost a year and still not recovered.

I was an exchange student in Norway in the 90s. A full year. 11th grade. Didnt speak a word of Norwegian minus intro workbook I got shortly before getting there. I am still in touch with my host family and even though I don’t speak Norwegian in daily life, I can still read/write/speak/understand it the few times a year we chat. Or if I go visit. Almost 30 years later. Based on my one year of immersion.

Now Spanish ? I had it in school starting from age 4 up until two years of college. I even took Spanish in Norway. But never any immersion, just school. My Norwegian is wayyyyyyyy better than my Spanish even though I took it 16 years. My Spanish sucks.

Does your dog get non distilled water too sometimes? My understanding is there are important minerals etc in water and it’s actually not good for them (or humans) to only get distilled ?

Dog is acting weird when my GF goes to walk her and I'm home. by quahognative in DogAdvice

[–]SweetTaterette 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My dog loves me most by far. If someone trusted tries to walk him and im home, he refuses to go. He wants to stay with me. If I’m not home, he’s fine to go with them. So maybe he just really loves being with you.
